Chapter 7( Needed ME)

Sofia P.O.V

I made my way downstairs towards the kitchen where both my parents stood around the island, "Thanks for the warning." My dad spoke looking up at me as I made my way inside. "I know but I was scared to know what your reaction would be," I mumbled taking a seat at the island as Paulina walked into the kitchen. "Y/N just went and got in the shower so while she's in there let's just put it all on the table," Paulina spoke pulling a seat up beside me. "We got at least twenty minutes," I spoke with a sigh before looking at my parents. "How did you find Y/N?" My dad asked causing me to bite my lip. "She's the head of the music department for Descendants 3. So we've been working together," I spoke pulling my hair into a ponytail as I tried to avoid my parent's eyes. "So where did she disappear off to after everything happened?" My mom asked next causing me to look up at her. "Europe I believe," I spoke realizing that we still haven't talked about it.

"Have y'all talked about everything or at least tried working it out?" My mom asked crossing her arms as I shook my head. "We haven't really just sat down and talked about everything. We've been busy," I spoke shrugging carelessly as I picked with my nails. "Well, we aren't going to pry. Isn't that right Laura?" My father spoke causing my mother to look at him shocked. "I would never," She spoke causing us all to roll our eyes. "Okay fine, but honestly I'm glad Y/N's back. I was worried and I'd rather her come around more,"  My mom spoke wrapping her arm around my dad who nodded agreeing with her.

"I know that you still believe that Y/N cheated but Sofia I don't know sweetheart. Even after all these years it still doesn't sit right with me. I just can't make myself believe it because it just doesn't sound right," My mom spoke before we heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "I think that's the first thing that needs to be discussed," She mumbled as Y/N made her way into the kitchen with her hair still slightly wet from the shower. "You cut your hair?" My mom spoke moving out of her father's arm and grabbing at Y/N's wet hair. Y/N simply laughed, "I had to it was too long and it was starting to get annoying." She spoke turning around slowly allowing my mom to see it. "I like it. It fits you!" My dad spoke smiling over at her causing her to thank him before her eyes traveled over towards me.

"What? You know I like the short hair, I just hate that you keep it in your face," I spoke standing in front of her as I ran my hand through her hair pushing it back so it wasn't covering her eyes. "Much better," I mumbled staring in her eyes causing her to smile before Paulina cleared her throat. "Why don't we head out to dinner," She spoke causing us to pull away from one another. "Yeah, that sound's great. Let me go put on some shoes," Y/N mumbled before rushing out of the room. "The loves still there. Whether you choose to deny it or ignore it, I know that that girl still loves you and that she didn't cheat, "My father spoke causing me to heat up, because it seemed like this was going to be a very long week if this kept happening.

"I didn't bring Y/N here so everyone could tell me what she did and what she didn't do. I didn't bring her home for any way to try and justify her actions or tell me what to believe," I spoke annoyed as I made my way out the kitchen and up the stairs to grab my purse from my room. I pushed the door open as I grabbed my purse off the bed before turning around seeing Y/N leaning against the door. "What's the matter?" She asked stuffing her hands in her pocket causing me to roll my eyes. "Why would something be wrong?" I asked as she stood up straight looking at me. "Well the stomping up the stairs like a brat was my first guess but the attitude that you clearly have just proves that something is wrong."

"Just a couple of disagreements with my parents," I spoke taking a seat on my bed as Y/N closed the door taking a seat on my desk in the corner. "About me?" She asked slightly concerned causing me to shake my head. "About us. I brought you here because despite everything that happened between us my family is still your family, and when we broke things off it was like I didn't really have to talk about it. They didn't really throw so many questions or even really ask for an explanation, and now that you're here."
