Adam's: POV
June 15th 1831: London
The bell rang when my husband entered the bakery. Our beautiful daugther were sleeping in her stroller. John went up to me and wiped off some flour from my cheek. I smiled at him and gave him a kiss.

(John Barker)
(Lucy Barker)
"It smells lovely in here." said John. "Thank you darling." I replied. "Have your customers got to taste your famous pies yet?" he asked. "Yes and they love it." I said with a smile on my face. "Why am I not surprised?" asked John.
Lucy woke up from her nap and started to cry. I picked up her and sang a lullaby. She stopped crying and smiled. "My beautiful Lucy, me and papa love you so much." I said. "She's going to be a baker too, just like her father." replied John. "I can't wait to bake pies with her." I said. Lucy giggled softly. "My wonderful family." replied John and hugged us. "I love you." I said. "I love you more." he replied.

I closed my bakery for the day. It was late and the streets were empty of people. The street lamps lit up the dark night. A shadow passed me and I turned around. I couldn't see anyone. "Hello, is there anyone here?" I asked.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and a scream left my mouth. "John, you scared me." I said. "Are you okay?" he asked worried. I took a deep breath and calmed down. "I think I saw someone." I said. John looked around but he couldn't see anyone either. "Come Adam, we are soon home." he replied. I nodded and we went home. In the shadow stood a man and looked at them.
I wonder who the man was?
