Upstairs in the attic Reid, Percy, Gideon, and Hotch are gathered around a board game that Reid is studying very closely. Elle walks into the room.\
"What's that?" she queries
"A board game called go," Reid answered. "It's considered one of hardest games in the world"
"Chairman Mao had all of his generals learn how to play it." Gideon provided
"You know, this could actually be very good. From the looks of it he seems to be playing himself." Reid began "Go has been considered to be a very psychologically revealing game"
"What does it reveal about Slessman?" asked Percy
"That he's an extreme Aggressor when playing" Reid answered. They all looked at each other and that's when Percy reached up to grab a book that looked particularly well read. As he opened the book newspaper clippings fell out, Percy reached down to grab them and saw that they were headlines of the bombing the agent Gideon narrowly escaped. He showed them to Gideon.
"I want to talk to him." Gideon said with a fire in his eyes.
In the kitchen Richard Slessman sat at the table with his arms cuffed behind his back. When Gideon sat down he smirked and looked at the newspaper clipping that was slid across the table into his view.
"You know they never tell you the true facts about CPR," Richard began, "that outside of a hospital, it only works around seven percent of the time." Gideon just stared at him. "So even after you broke his ribs and you felt life leave his body, you still kept going, didn't you? Why was that?"
"Where's the girl?" gideon asked
"Who?"
"Heather Woodland"
"Heather Woodland? Isn't that the girl who went missing a couple of days ago?" Richard said with a smirk.
Gideon looked around and saw various decorations that all had the same theme, good little boys will be rewarded. "Get him out of here" he said "NOW!"
Gideon walked outside to get some air. Hotch walked towards him "he said isn't she the girl who went missing"
"If she was dead he would have said wasn't" Hotch said
"We still have time to find her. I just don't know how much ''Gideon said and with that he walked back inside "I want you to go with him and find out everything you can, we now know that he has a partner."
Meanwhile at the FBI Seattle field office Reid, Elle, and Hotch walked down a flight of stairs.
"So wait, he sure has a partner?" Elle asked
"Yes and while Slessman won't talk, there is someone who might know who his partner is" Hotch said. He walked forward to the old woman who was sitting in a chair "Mrs. Slessman I'm sorry to have caused all this trouble. We now think that Rihard isn't a part of this but we think that it could have been one of his friends."
"Oh, well, Richard didn't have many friends" Mrs. slessman said
"Please think back it would have been someone bigger that richard someone who would be more controlling than he is"
"well , there was this one young man, i think his name was Charlie." mrs. Slessman said, " oh, but I can't remember his last name. I'm terribly sorry."
"That's ok you've been a great help" Hotch said as he walked back towards Reid and Elle.
"We need to find all known associates of Slesssman that have the name charles or charlie.
Slessman house
"Hey baby girl, I need you to work some magic for me," Morgan said. Percy looked over and smirked as he had gotten used to the odd banter that Morgan and the spunky technical analyst had whenever he called her.
"Well you've reached the office of supreme genius, is my red haired brit with you?" garcia said
"I'm right here garcia," percy said
"God your accent is just amazing" she said "it's like a fine wine, never lose it my love"
"Hey garcia let's stay on track" morgan chuckled. "I've got this password system that i need cracking"
"Sure what's the name?"
"Deadbolt Defense"
"Sorry man, that's like the best password defense system out there you're gonna have to be really good at guessing the password in order to get past the system."
"I thought I was calling the office of supreme genius?" morgan joked
"Well you've been rerouted to the office too freaking bad." Garcia fired back. And with that Morgan hung up. Percy began laughing to himself.
"I don't know what you're laughing about," morgan said "i think you need to start going through all those CDs in order to figure out what the passcode is. Look for the most used CD"
Percy looked perplexed, of course he knew what a cd was and he knew that the most played one would probably have the password somewhere on it. But for the life of him he didn't know what a worn out Cd would look like. After all he has never used one in his life before.
"Man, I don't know where we found you. Worn out means a lot of scratches on the back dude" morgan said exasperated.
"Oh ok," Percy said. And with that he got to work
Morgan got to work with guessing the password, the problem was that he only had six tries before the hard drive was wiped.
Seattle Field Office
"Charlie is probably Charles Linder," Elle said. "He shared a cell with Slessman, and he received a dishonorable charge from the military"
"He's bigger, tougher, could have protected Slessman while in prison"
"Making Slessman feels like he owed him"
"Where were they incarcerated?"
"Carcadia, less than a mile from here"
"Let's go"
Slessman House
Morgan closes a medicine cabinet, "my name is Richard Slessman and i have trouble sleeping."
Seattle Field Office
"Do you have an address on Linder?" Hotch asked Reid as he was walking towards him
"It's coming right now" Reid replied
"Well I guess we can rule him out as a suspect" Hotch said as he looked at the paper that Reid held in his hands.
Carcadia Prison
"Is there anyone who can tell us more about Slessman?" gideon asked the Warden
"Tim Vogal, that's him over there. He's a guard" the warden said
"That was Hotch, Linder's dead" Elle said
