As she got closer, she realized she was looking into the eyes of Hyejoo. Hyejoo?!

Hyejoo grimaced and readied herself to be met by someone who didn't want her doing graffiti. But no-this was a girl in pajamas and slippers. It was Vivi.

"Vivi?"
"Hyejoo? Are you um..okay?" Vivi had never spoken to Hyejoo if she had had to. But now she had no choice.
"Yeah, I'm fine. What'd you think I was, hurt?" Hyejoo blurted, rolling her eyes standing up, with some difficulty that she tried to hide.

"So...you're a tagger?" asked Vivi.
"Yeah. You got a problem with that?" Hyejoo read Vivi's question differently than Vivi had intended.
"No...I..." Vivi paused. Why was she about to tell Hyejoo something she'd only told her roommate and closest friend, Haseul? "I actually want to try out graffiti."

Something shifted. Hyejoo seemed to change. She warmed up slowly. "Oh. Then--do you want to try?"

"Uh...can I?" Vivi asked.

Hyejoo nodded authoritatively and held out the can in her hand. It was silver. Standing next to Vivi, she showed her how she wrote her tag, 'HYE'.

Soon Vivi had the hang of it. She looked up and saw the moon. "Wait. What time is it?"

Hyejoo checked her watch. "It's 4:03."

"Oh, I should get going." Vivi started to head back. "Thank you, Hyejoo. You should go home. Do you want me to help you walk home?" She had noticed Hyejoo's limp.

"No thanks, Vivi. See you tomorrow." With a small wave, a small smile, Vivi left Hyejoo to continue her tagging.

Hyejoo had made a friend. They were never more than that.

Heejin pushed open the door and she, Yerim, and Chaewon stepped outside.

"I'm so happy we can go out for lunch this year," said Heejin, "the lunch in the cafeteria is disgusting."

Chaewon nodded in agreement.
"It was horrible."

They walked into a small café.

"This place is so cute!" said Yerim, immediately sitting down, ready to eat.

The waiter came. She took Chaewon and Yerim's orders. She politely asked Heejin what she wanted. Heejin was still looking over the menu.
"Uh, one sec, sorry!" said Heejin.
She finally chose her dish.

The food arrived shortly after and the girls began to eat.

"Wow, this is so good!" said Chaewon.

Completely off topic, Heejin looked across the café.

"Hey Yerim, Chaewon," she elbowed them, "Isn't that guy over there cute?" she whispered.

"He gives me like, Romeo vibes, y'know?" Heejin mused.

Choerry nodded intently in agreement. Chaewon rolled her eyes.

"You're such a hopeless romantic, Heejin." she said, but kindly. Heejin had been her friend since kindergarten.

"Yeah, you're so popular at our school, why are you crushing on random dudes at cafés?!" Yerim laughed.

Heejin, slightly annoyed, rolled her eyes and took a bite of her food.
