Jeromes P.O.V:

I sat next to Mitch as he turned talking to his other friends who were on the other side of him. Great notch hes so beautiful, I can't help but be around him! I know I just came here but he did protect me against that bully and he doesn't seem to mind me being around him. "Ok class! Today we are learning how to swim!" Everyone groaned at mrs.deadcrafts staitment. "New kid, you get to go first since your new and all..." I smiled as she looked at me and I got up as mrs. Deadcraft waves me over and then the rest of the class followed. We all ended up standing by a large pool with a ladder going up and a diving board at the top. "Ok kid, let's see what you got..." Mrs. Deadcraft said. I blushed a little as I took off my tie and shirt, I felt all eyes on me, even Mitch's. I stripped down to my underwear and I climbed the ladder to the top of the board and I stood there looking down at everyone. Mitch listened as a guy with curly brown hair wearing a golden necklace with a purple gem encrested in it and grey and black clothes wearing sunglasses whispered to Mitch and they both laughed looking up at me. We're they talking about me? I thought and I nervously walked to the edge on the board and took a few deep breaths and hopped a little. I made a large hop before jumping off the board diving strait down into the pool with a loud splash, I opened my eyes looking up at where the top was but I was only sinking down, I felt like I couldn't hold my breath for much longer. I struggled to swim but I just couldn't. This would be my end.

I felt something wrap around my waist and hauling me to the surface. I gasped for air once we got to the top and I coughed out water too. Whoever had rescued me set me by the side of the pool a few feet away. I looked and saw a shirtless wet Mitch standin over me breathing a bit heavily. "Thank you Mitch for saving his life!" Mrs.deadcraft rushed over checking to make sure I was ok. "Are you alright, Jerome?" Mitch asked. I could barely speak, not from almost drowning, but from realizing that it was Mitch who had saved me, and him in general. "Dood? ...buddy?" Mitch asked.
