Born in a land where every human has a spirit animal:

Mark Lee, the son of Bruce Lee, has to go down a journey of self discovery when he finds out he is more than just the son of a steamed bun owner.

He's a dragon.

"Your highness. You're dying." Qian Kun said to Taeyong, the king of the Land Nation coughing. His face was flushed and he shook his head, a hand reaching out to steady the king. "We have to do something. We have to find a way to save you. The dragon inside you has to be released, your highness. We need to call forth the Fire, Wind, Water nation to help us. There is still a chance."

"We all know that that's impossible, Kun." Taeyong said, a soft smile on his face.

"That's not true. We all saw the prophecy. We all know that there is a way for you to not to die." Yuta said, his eyes on Taeyong. "We'll all find a way, your highness. We won't let you die. I'm your royal advisor, I refuse for you to accept your fate."

"Yuta—" Taeyong raised a hand to stop the man from speaking when the doors opened and Jaehyun walked in. "Oh, the knightsmen are back. Lucas, Jaehyun, Johnny. What have you brought me?"

"We have him."

"Who?"

"The boy we saw in the prophecy." Jaehyun said, pushing the boy forward. "Mark Lee."

"Mark." Bruce Lee said, sighing.

"And why didn't you tell me I was adopted?" Mark squeaked, trying to process the information when Bruce Lee blinked at his son.

"Son, I have blue eyes and blonde hair and you have black eyes and.... Black eyes. How do not know you're adopted?"

"I thought it was a recessive trait!" Mark said. "Oh my god! I'm not just Mark Lee, I'm a shape shifter! Not just a shapeshifter, I'm a royal!"

"Yes, Mark." Bruce Lee said to his son. "And it is time for you to fulfill what you were always meant to do."

"Everything was peaceful." Moon Tae-il said, turning into a crane and flying around the room to grab a history book. "Until the fire nation attacked."

"Oh, wow. I never read about the history of the Neo Kingdom before!" Mark exclaimed. "What does 1870 BFA mean?"

Taeil phased into a person, laying the book in front Mark. "BFA stands for "Before the Fire Nation Attacked"."

Mark blinked. "And what does 23 AFA mean?"

"After the Fire Nation attacked." Tae-il said, looking at him like he was stupid.

"You use the year that the fire nation attacked as a benchmark?" Mark asked and Tae-il nodded, the male raising an eyebrow.

"Like I said, Mark Lee. Everything was peaceful, until the fire nation... attacked."

"Shape shifters, knightsmen...." Jungwoo crowing, a paper in the air. "This is time for all of us to unite. The Fire Nation, the Wind Nation, the Water Nation and the Land Nation. As SM, we must protect our peace and our people. Knightsmen, you will be the first line of defense. Shapeshifters, you will be the second."

Everyone gave out a nod.

"Remember, we have one goal and that is to protect our dragons." Jungwoo concluded, everyone nervous at how close the war was.

"This is it." Haechan whispered, turning into animal form. "This is the war we have been waiting for. For the Neo Kingdom!"

"For the Neo Kingdom!" They chorused.
