"Isaac?" I whispered into the wind. I couldn't believe my eyes, "Why on earth do you have you be so stupid? Why make this more complicated by risk getting yourself captured? Not to mention your arm!" Then I remembered my resolve, "Why did you even bother coming after me?" Bitterness dripped from my voice, "Did Caroline run away?" Tears started falling down my checks.
Isaac placed his hand on my check and wiped away the tears, "Caroline threw herself on me, I don't like her anymore than I like gators," he explained, "But there is a girl I do love," I felt my heart sink to the tips of my boots and all hope disappear, Isaac didn't wait for an answer and continued, "You're that girl, Debbie, whether you like it or not, I'm in love with you. Nothing will ever change that and if you hate me, I will do everything in my power to make you love me right back, even if it kills me." His gaze intensified and I was speechless.
Warning: Contains massive amounts of horribly thought through plot twist. (As in, I literally thought up an idea, and wrote it down.)
You have been warned. "Don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn ya!" Sorry...*shamefully looks at feet*
