I think I might know what this place is. - Says Zeke, Venus come out of the car, looks around and asks her dad: - Dad, Where are we? - We are on Earth. Vega comes out of the car, looks around and says: - So, this is Earth. It's beautiful! - It might be beautiful, but it's not safe! People here hate people like us. We were and will always be different. - Angrily said Libra.
So, what are we going to do? Where are we going to live? What are we going to eat?! Our lives are over! - Yells Venus. Calm down sweetie, - Says Zeke, kindly smiles at her and hugs her. - we are going to be just fine. - Where are we going to live? - Asks Libra, while looking at her husband, hoping that he has the answer. - I don't know, before we fix the space car, we're going to rent a room. - But, dad how long will the fixing take? - it should take about a day or two, but however it might need a little more time.
They rent a room for few nights. One day, while Zeke was trying to fix the space car, something went wrong. It exploded. Well, the good thing is that no one was injured, however on the other hand, the Viottos were now stuck on earth.
Libra I have bad news, - Says Zeke with a disappointed face. - unfortunately, the space car exploded. - Wait, what do you mean the space car exploded! So, now we're stuck here? - Libra angrily yells at her husband. - I'm afraid so.
Venus overhears their conversation and starts talking: - Wait, if we're stuck on Earth that means we live here now. So, that means we're gonna go to school here?! Nope, that is not going to happen! - But sweetie, we have to stay here before dad build a new space car. - Fine! But he better do it quick.
Venus rushes to the bathroom, locks the door and starts crying. She misses her best friend, Luna, her old home, old life.
Vega, who was always the social butterfly is happy to stay on Earth, goes to her parents and tells them, that she didn't like Mars anyway. Zeke and Libra are standing there confused, while Venus is crying her eyes out in the bathroom. She's disappointed, very disappointed, but knows there's nothing she can do to go back to Mars. She knows that she has to get used to her new home, whether she likes it or not, whether she is hurt by it or not.
In Venus's mind: I miss Luna, even though she completely ignored me for a while, I miss my old home, even though there were space bugs everywhere, I miss my old school and friends, I miss Comet, that stray space dog that was always lying by our front yard. I always fed him. Vega couldn't stand him though, because she's allergic to space dogs, not sure if it's same for Earth ones. I don't want to go to Earth school, because it's always hard for me to make friends.
Venus stands up, opens the bathroom door and goes to bed without saying a word to any of her parents nor her sister.
