I don't think we should live our life fearing the next heartbreak and cutting ourselves off from love altogether. It will hurt in the end, of that I'm sure. But it will also give you a few moments of sheer happiness. May this happiness lessen the pain of separation and give you the strength to make the mistake of loving again.

Listen to the stories of the world
They all tell a silent tale
They can make you laugh
They'll move you to tears
Go ahead lend them an ear.
Not tales of great deeds done long ago
No, listen to the ones no one
Has bothered to discover yet
They're all tiny tales with a great message
All about love and compassion
About little acts of kindness of bravery,
That need no fame
And yet these tales convey not all smiles
They show you too, the roads you need to avoid
The mistakes people have made before you
The one's they tried to hide from view
You only need open your ears
And you'll hear them, you'll learn something new.
Listen to the stories of the world,
They all tell a silent tale
Watch and listen, learn and grow
Keep your eyes clean, your ears open
So you don't miss a word
Of the silent stories of the world...
