Chapter 2

Kasalukuyan kaming kumakain ngayon ni Lucas.

Kakauwi lang din niya galing school kaya pinaglutuan ko na din siya.

Once in a blue moon lang ako maging ganto.

At ngayon lang ako nagkaganito.

Ewan siguro bumabawi lang ako kay Lucas.

"Lucas uhhmm.. Thankyou again for helping me I owe you for this"

He just replied a smile.

"By the way nasan nga pala family mo? "

Napansin ko naman na nawala yung ngiti sa mukha niya.

Oops wrong move Iris.

"A-aah if you have a problem with your family its okay don't mind me"

He sighed then looked at me with his serious face.

"My dad is in States with my brother and sister while my mom died when I was 6"

"Im sorry for that Lucas"

"Don't be sorry Iris its just part of my past and besides 9 years had passed so I already moved on wala na naman akong magagawa pa"

Then he smiled bitterly.

I know kahit sabihin niya yun I can see it in his eyes the pain.

The pain that I experienced too.

"How about you? Where's your parents?"

I smiled.

"My mom is in Paris with her own family"

"And your dad?"

"I don't where he is, simula nung namulat ako sa mundong to wala akong kinilalang ama..

...I lived all by myself since high school. Kaya nasanay na din ako na mamuhay mag-isa"

I was shocked nung nakita ko na nakatitig siya sakin.

He was looking at me intently.

"What?"

He smiled.

"That's the first time I saw the great Iris Stace Fraizer wearing that serious face"

I frowned.
