"Isn't this cool? Being 17 and 16 going to London!" nycole said almost screaming in my ear. I just turned 17 and moving to London for a little with her. I had to go to model while she came to do school. Yes I know it's a dream. But we are going to another country without our parents. "You're lucky. Not going to school" I looked up from my phone to look at Nycole. "Girl I still got school to do... just I don't go physically?" "Exactly! You think I want to go?!"
We stared at each other for a couple of seconds then bursted out laughing. Everyone turned around to give us looks as in saying "You guys are too loud." Once we calmed down our flight got called. "I hope there's cute boys at my school. If not I'm jumping out a window." "Why don't you continue taking pictures of people? I mean you can do photo shoots for people at London" she smiled in my idea and nodded her head.
"maybe but how would I do it?" "I could ask my manager. She knows things about that" she started smiling. "Yes please" we took our seats and got comfortable. "Look at us chasing our dreams. Moving to London... you modeling and maybe me being a huge photographer" I smiled remembering our dream plan we made when we were 12.
FLASHBACK
"Oooo what about London!" Nycole scrunched her nose at my idea. "Isn't that expensive?" "i don't know... but imagine me on a runway or you taking pictures of me! modeling! isn't that cool?" she nodded her head while taking a bite of the enchiladas my mom made. "But New York! Everyone goes there." "Yeah but London... One Direction!" her eyes widened when i brought them up. "Ok maybe... One of those places we have to move there." we smiled at each other then went to lala land dreaming of our future.
BACK TO PRESENT TIME
"London's quite... big..." nycole turned around and began laughing at my dumb remark i made of harry's saying. "I hope we see draco" i rolled my eyes at her love for him. Don't get me wrong he's cute but that's all she talks about. I looked out the window too see clouds. "Well ima take a nap" i nodded my head as i looked down at my phone. this is gonna be a long flight.
- 11 hours later -
"Girl sitting here is gonna make me more flat is the flight almost over?" i nodded at nycole while looking at my phone. "about 15 more minutes i think" "So since the apartment is yours i want you to have the bigger room. Plus London was the place you wanted to go to." "ok but! when if we move to New York you get the bigger room" She smiled and threw herself back to the seat. "Everyone please prepare for landing" nycole and i looked at each other with excitement in our eyes. Once we finally landed we got our things and began looking for our ride.
"So who's picking us up?" "Uhhh my manager and some girl i don't know honestly. Just look for a board that says Nycole and Luna" she nodded her head and pointed. "Right there!" we made our way to my manager and the mysterious girl. "Hello Luna and Nycole! I'm Allison and this is Millie! I thought you guys would like a friend from here and she was up for it!" i smiled as i looked at millie. she looked very familiar. "Hi i'm Luna and this is-" "I'm nycole! I love the series your in!" that's where she's from. Stranger Things. "Hello and thank you! I can tell we are gonna be good friends... Nycole i'm positive you are going to school with my good friend..." "That's cool" I smiled as we walked to the car. As we were driving to our apartment the whole view was breathtaking.
"Well this is your guys stop. Everything is already here as well as furniture. You just need food. A market is that far!" "Thank you so much Allison! and Millie if you want you could come in and hang out with us" her eyes filled with joy as she nodded her head and got out the car. we walked up to the building to make our way to the apartment while talking about ourselves.
"I act and yeah that's pretty much it" millie said with a little laugh. "I like to call myself a photographer but for now i just go to school" "that's really cool. maybe one day you could do a photoshoot for me" nycole nodded as they looked at me. "well uhh i model and skate with nycole" millie nodded as her eyes went wide. "isn't skating scary?" "not at all! at first since you fall a lot but you just get used to it" nycole said as i nodded agreeing with her as millie tried to understand it.
We walk into our apartment and saw all the furniture put together and boxes on the side waiting for us marked 'luna' or 'nycole' millie looked around as we did the same. she looked up at the ceiling and her eyes filled with joy. "you guys have those cool designs on the ceiling!" i looked up and saw little designs sticking out colored in gold. "I can help you guys if you want i really don't have anything to do" she said with pleading eyes as we nodded. we played music on the tv that was in the living room and got to cleaning up and decorating.
As we were putting away things from our boxes nycole pulled out her disposal camera. "Let's take a picture!" millie and i ran to nycole as she was setting up where to take the picture. "ok.. 1..2..3" the camera flashed and nycole got up. "do you know where i can take these pictures out" millie nodded and told her where as i continued to put away things.
"she went to go take out the pictures" millie said as she entered my room. i nodded and i backed up and looked at my room. " this is so cool! how did you hang up the skateboards?" "with a nail and shoe lace" she laughed as i smiled. "that baby is so cute!" she said as she pointed to the picture that was laying on my vanity of my little brother dress up as woody and me as jessie. He's in love with all the toy story movies and begged for me to be jessie.
"you should've seen him he was almost crying when i didn't want to be jessie" she laughed as she looked at other pictures. "you are so adorable in that picture. is that your brother?" she pointed to a picture that was on my wall. I looked over. "oh no that was the last picture i took with my best friend who passed away" i smiled at the picture. it was us reading a book while laughing. "i'm so sorry" "it's fine he passed away a long time ago" she nodded as a door opened. "I got the pictures!" nycole said as she walked to my room. " i love this. anyways i have four copies of the picture." she said as she handed us one of the picture. i got an empty picture frame and put the picture in it and laid it on my nightstand.
"Well i gotta go home before my mom calls me. I had such a good time hopefully i'll see you guys later?" "yeah you can come over anytime!" she nodded her head and walked out the door. "i have a feeling we have a new best friend" i laughed at nycole as we walked out to get groceries and other things.
