Pain. Wonder. Curiosity. Hurt. Blurry figures above. Stomp, stomp. The ground shakes and cries at their steps. Yelps of help ring in the air. They don't seem aware. Stomp, stomp. The water gurgles a muffled cry as they jump in. Splash, splash. The dirt dies at the touch of the water, displaced from the river by them. Splash, splash. Stomp, stomp. Animals cower and run at the sight of them. They know they should stay away, but they come back anyway. Stomp, stomp. Splash, splash. Leaves from trees try to fly away but fall and get crushed. Anger. Sadness. Curiosity. Pain. The rocks get bounced on by the bouncy ball that they are playing with. Pain, pain, pain. Stomp, stomp. Splash, splash. Bounce, bounce. The earth dies and withers and wilts because of them. Everything destroyed or hurt. Because of them. The destroyers. The earth will never be the same.
