What type of guy takes a job keeping a lighthouse? I'll tell you who. A guy who feels ugly both physically and emotionally. A man who has never found love and feels he never will. A gentleman of no character who enjoys cleaning and polishing brass. A monsieur with so much loneliness filling his soul he feels like he is the happiest man alive. A male that enjoys water and light, dryness and darkness. The type of guy who takes a job keeping a lighthouse isn't the type of guy who is accomplished. And if he feels like he is accomplished in a profession that isn't accomplishing, he should reexamine his life or think about keeping a lighthouse.
