Hi guys! If there are mistakes or things that don't make sense in here, please let me know. I'm sorry this chapter isn't as exciting as the last one, but I'm working on how the rest of the book will play out. There aren't going to be too many more chapters, but I'll let you know. Thanks for reading! Love you all! xoxo

The second Umbridge told me I could go, I was gone. I bolted from the room and let the door to her classroom slam behind me. My feet moved so quickly under the weight of my body that I couldn’t tell where I was headed.
I knew in the back of mind, but I didn’t want to give in to the fact that I was (like usual) running to Draco. I could feel my fingers shake as I knocked lightly on his door, praying none of the other boys came out of their rooms.
He opened the door a moment later and I pushed my way in and tears ran freely down my face. I could hear him shut the door as I turned to face him.
“Natalie,” I heard as he stiffened, realizing what was wrong. “What happened to you?” He asked quietly.
“This is my punishment.” I said in between sobs.
“Punishment for what?”
“For not listening to her stupid lesson.” I held out my hand for him to see. The words “I will listen” were cut into the top of my right hand. There were layers upon layers of cuts, covering my hand, from my knuckles to my wrist.
He didn’t say anything. He just took out his wand and whispered “episky” over my hand. I watched as most of the cuts slowly closed, leaving only scratches and red skin behind.
“Thank you.” I said softly, secretly hoping it would prove to Draco that Umbridge is as evil as I’ve told him before. I couldn’t tell what he was thinking, so I just nodded slightly and headed for the door.
“Natalie,” He said again.
I could hear him sigh. I could feel his hands reach out to rest gently on my hips and turn me towards him. I could feel my eyes give in and close when his lips met mine; just one, simple, soft, gentle, perfect kiss.
“You’re welcome.” He said, opening the door for me. I smiled back and left the room, trying not to ruin the moment like I always seem to do.
I found my way to the infirmary and managed to steal some bandages when no one was looking. It wasn’t so difficult, considering it was almost curfew and no one was down there.
So I retreated to my room after that, making a stop in the bathroom first. I cleaned my hand with soap and water and applied the square shaped bandage over the cuts. I hoped no one would notice but didn’t count on it.
“How was detention?” Aly asked when I walked in the room. I kicked my shoes off, throwing them somewhere near my wardrobe, and changed into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.
“It sucked.” I said. “Umbridge is the biggest bitch ever.”
She turned around in her chair. “Tell me about it. I can’t even doodle without her noticing!” She complained.
I knew the feeling. If you even thought about looking out the window, Umbridge would have your head. She’d cut your head off and keep it on her wall with all her cat plates. She’d keep it as a trophy. She’d probably paint it pink, and then hang it on her wall. She’d use it to scare children into paying attention in class.
“Hey, what happened to your hand?” She asked curiously.
“Just a scratch that’s healing, don’t worry.” I half lied.
But Aly bought it. I knew she would. I love Aly and she’s smart, but she’s oblivious to a lot of things. She’s simple minded. If it’s not a major change, she won’t even notice. Kay’s dyed her hair before without Aly even noticing.
“Did you decide what you’re doing for Christmas?” I asked, genuinely curious. She sighed.
“Well, I was thinking that I’d do what you suggested. Perhaps my mum and dad would understand if they met him first.”
I nodded. “Good idea.”
“Yes, what are you doing for the holiday?”
“I guess I’m going home. I don’t have anything else to do anyway. And Monica’s going home too… since I don’t get to see her all the time here it will be nice.”
I imagined what it was like in California at the moment. Was the sun shining? Was it hot? Were the dolphins leaping from the sea for the entire west coast to see? What were Mom and Dad doing? Did they miss us?
I’m sure they did. But I missed them even more. I missed California. Sure, Scotland is beautiful, but I’ve learned there’s nothing like home.
The only thing tugging at my heart, drawing me to this country, was Draco Malfoy. If I didn’t have him, why would I stay? How could I stay? Every day I was becoming more and more engulfed by his spell like draw. Every day I was drowning a little further into his world.
Would I have to choose between them? Home and Draco? How could I ever make that choice? I couldn’t.
