Chapter 25: 'The End' Is Always A Dramatic Affair

A/N: So, all good things come to an end, so did my story! Although this story doesn't really need an Epilogue, I will give you one. More like a  bonus chapter really!

"Aryaman this is futile, we need to head back and tell Aams that di has run away, Cabir jiju will be arriving soon; then they will find out anyway" said Aliyaa panting hard. Manik gritted his teeth, "Oyi cartoon he is not Cabir jiju okay! He is a creepy, idiotic, girlfriend stealing dick!!"

Aryaman sighed, "Can you guys cut it out? This is serious; we have to go home and tell your Aams that Nandini has run away"

When they reached the house, they saw the hustle for preparations for the evening ceremony was on in full swing; everyone was running around trying to make the ceremony a success. Aliyaa stood numb for a second, but she knew she had to eventually tell her Aams, so she buckled up the courage and ran to her.

"Aams, I need to tell you something" she told her earnestly with big puppy eyes.

"Yeah, say what you have to beta, who's stopping you?" said Aams unconcerned going about her chore.

Aliyaa took a deep breath, "Aams, di has run away" she simply told her. Aams stopped her chore and turned to look at her.

"Acha, where has she gone?" she asked narrowing her eyes at her younger grand daughters' wrongly timed mischief.

"How will I know Aams? She has done a Bunk, Gone, Poof, Woosh" she told her dramatically,

"We went to look for her, me, Navya, Aryaman and Ma—'Abhimanyu'; but she is nowhwere outside" Aaliya finished with saucer like eyes, panting breathlessly.

"Aliyaa had I not been so busy I surely would have boxed your ears for this mischief, uff go now, I don't have time for this non-sense, go and serve your friends some refreshments at least; make yourself useful, don't do timepass, see some more of them have also arrived" Aams dismissed her.

"But Aams, you're not understanding, I am damn serious" Aliyaa begun, but Aams lost her patience, "Offo Aliyaa, if Nandini has run-away who is sitting in her bedroom applying mehendi?" She asked irritated and motioned her to look towards Nandini's room, where the door stood ajar. Aliyaa glanced and was shocked to see Nandini sitting there and politely talking to the women around her. She breathed heavily in annoyance and marched to her room, with a surprised Manik, Aryaman and Navya following. She walked into her room and darkly asked the women to excuse them; once they filed out, Aliyaa asked Aryaman and all to come in. Nandini was surprised to say the least when she saw Manik walk in with Aryaman and Navya.

"Yo--you" she stammered. And at the same time someone called out aloud in shock from the entrance of her door, "bhai???" Manik tore his glance from Nandini and his jaw dropped to see Mukti and Abhimanyu at the door.

"Bhai what are you doing here? I thought you didn't know about her whereabouts?" she charged at him.

"I..err..I didn't until Aryaman told me" Manik glanced at Nandini as he answered Mukti. She was still staring at him unaware that she was doing so, with shock clearly written on her face.

But before Mukti could question further, Aliyaa charged at her di, "Di how dare you come back after running away? I thought you will be at least responsible enough to continue running once you ran away? What did you think? We wouldn't be able to handle this? It's just roka di!! Why did you return??" She chided her. Nandini looked startled and surprised, run-away? When did she runaway? "Aliyaa I.." She had begun, but Aliyaa didn't let her complete.
