Different Path (Naruto AU)

Chapter 6

I stand up and poke the scraggly clone. My process of making this new type of clone is getting along...slowly.

The clone falls over and poofs away.

I sigh. My tummy rumbles.

When was the last time I ate?

Go out and get food. You haven't eaten for a week. That isn't good since you are using your chakra up on that new jutsu.

"Alrighty then!" I say in a cheerful tone.

I leave my village and head to a lush part of the surrounding forest.

I feel the chakra of three foreign people. One of them is female. One has a huge chakra reserve and is a male. And the last one... he has chakra similar to that of Sasuke.

 I create a few clones and mask their chakra. I swap my place with one of them. The three get closer. I continue picking fruit as if I didn't notice them.

"Uzumaki Naruto"

I close my eyes and open them again.

"That's my name~"

I take a bite out of an apple. I probably will need the energy for this...

I turn around and look at them.

I see a purple-haired woman. She has orange eyes, a lip piercing and an origami flower. The man with the large chakra reserve resembled a shark. He had light blue skin and dark blue hair. He had a sword on his back which I immediately assume he was part of the 7 swordsmen of the mist. And last of, an Uchiha. Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke's older brother...

The three of them all wear an ebony black cloak with blood-red clouds on them. Itachi was apart of the Akatsuki, a criminal organization, according to reports in the Hokage tower. Of course, I have read a few of the restricted files.

"You three are of the Akatsuki. That criminal organization that is trying to gather all the jinchuuriki. You are after me. Aren't cha?"

Itachi narrows his eyes at me.

I am glad I secretly read all of Jiriyia-Sensei's reports.

"Yes were are from the Akatsuki. But we are not here to capture you" The female states calmly.

"We are here to request that you join us. If you don't we will be forced to kill you"

I give them a devilish smile.

"As if you will ever land a blow on me~"

Paper shuriken fly at me. They cover me like the spikes of a hedgehog. My clone poofs.

"Over there" Itachi points to another one of my clones. Little do they know, I am a master at concealing myself.

My clone flips over them and pulls out a kunai.

Itachi steps forward.

"Let's make a bet"

"I love bets~"

"I will fight you. Whoever land the first blow wins. If I win, you join the Akatsuki. If you win, we will leave you alone."

"Ne~ My part is boring~ If I win, I want you to go to Konoha...And kill them all except Sasuke. Bring him to me."

A dark expression is painted on my face.

Itachi gives me a questioning look.

Little does he know, I have entered the minds of the village elders. I know why The Uchihas were slaughtered. And why Sasuke remains. Killing everyone in front of Sasuke again would torture him~ If I have Sasuke by me~ I can bribe Itachi with him~

He can't back out as he will look weak~ I've got him wrapped around my finger~

"Alright"

The shark guy chuckles. "I think this one will be more interesting than with Deidara"
