Jade's POV
"Jadeeee!!!!! Wake uppp!!" Drew shouted in my ear. I groaned,digging my face in my pillow,pulling my blanket over my head. Drew and I bonded together these past few days and we are back to best friendsss."Fine,I was planning to treat you to ice-cream,but,since you don't want to go....." Drew teased,trailing off. I immediately shot up at the thought of ice-cream. Drew chuckled as I quickly pushed him out of the room to freshen up and change. I walked into my closet,picking out a 'I love coco-cola' shirt and a pair of denim shorts. I slipped on some red high-heeled sandals and dabbed a little bit of powder on my face,not really bothering with makeup. "I'm done!!!" I shouted,running out of the room. Drew smiled,grabbing my hand,pulling me to his car.
-at ice-cream shop-
"I want a chocolate sundae with sprinkles,mini marshmallows and fruity pebbles." I told the cashier. "Same as her." Drew told her before we went to the waiting corner. I took my ice-cream,thanking the girl who handed it to me. I took a huge spoon-ful of ice-cream,stuffing it into my mouth,moaning at the taste. "So lady-like!" Drew teased me sarcastically,earning him a smack to the arm. "Let's go for a walk." I suggested,finishing off my ice-cream. We walked and walked and walked. Boringgg...
"Race you to the swings!"Drew shouted,gesturing to the playground in front of us. He sprinted to the swing before I could sit on it.I whined,stomping my foot childishly. He chuckled,patting his lap,hinting me to sit. I grinned,sitting on his right leg. Drew wrapped his hands on my upper thigh while I wrapped mine on his neck,refraining me from falling. I looked up at him,getting lost in his blue eyes. I slowly leaned in,closing my eyes,feeling his soft lips meet mine. Drew righted his grip on me,pulling me closer,slipping his tongue into my mouth. "Hey Drew,what are you doing here,and with this nerd?" A rough voice caused Drew and I to pull away. "Nobody,its just a dare. I gotta go." He replied,before doing a weird handshake with the guy. I felt my heart clench by his words.we kissed and it 'was just a dare'? He tugged on my arm,pulling me with him. "look, whatever happened just now,it meant nothing okay?" Drew said sternly when we reached his car. I nodded,repeating the words in my head mentally. He's right,it means nothing.
