These were the words said By Advitiya on his wedding day for his bride to be, Vritika.
People get married first,then become parents.
Vritika was different so was her marriage...
It was their last day in Morocco. They enjoyed lot. They shop for everyone. Anika told them what mukti wants. They were actually a complete happy family. Vritika is now definitely happy wiht the way her marriage is going, slowly and steady. But last night flashes were still in fresh in her mind. She wants to talk with Advitiya about it ans she will, after all she is her mother now. She notice that he was on message with some as soon as she get near him,he put it's in his pocket. He smiled watching her. While going back in resort,Anika sitting between them,got closer to Vritika and said "mama,you got bitten by mosquito. It's little red here." She hides it with her collar and said "yes" and avoids the topic. With side look,she eyes him,who was staring at the mark he gave.
Advitiya look at the mark which Anika points out. First he didn't get that but soon realized,it's not mosquito it's him. He gulped. He clearly remember what he did last night and he was guilty about it. He wants to apologize to her and he will.
When they got back,Anika got busy in some of her toys. Both of them got chance to voice their mind.
"I am sorry. I got drunk and misbehave with you. I really am sorry." Advitiya looks guilty.
"It's ok. I was bit shocked. But it's fine now." Vritika lessen his burden.
"I need you ask you something." She ask.
He Nods.
"Anika is your daughter. Right ?" she questions him hesitancy.
His colour got white like there is no blood.
Her doubt is coming true. She continued. "You said she is like your daughter. What does that mean ?"
"Nothing. She is my daughter. That's it." She tries to cut in but he said "no more questions let's pack our stuff."
She is now confirmed, he is hiding something. He looked disturb.
She let the topic go for now. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Mukti with Rohit was waiting eagerly at airport for Anika to receive them. She saw them and wave her hand. Anika came running to her and hugged her. Rohit pick her up in her arms and kiss her cheeks. Mukti then hugs Vritika and hold her brother's hand. Unintentionally, Vritika saw one of the message in Advitiya's phone while he was typing. 'I am back. Will meet you soon. Take care❤️' She was now totally confused. On one hand they were trying to be active in their marriage life but then he behave as if she doesn't exist for her.
When they reached home,Anika was busy with Mukti telling her about her vacation. Vritika told Mukti "i wish to have some chat with you dear once you are done with gossips. Ok" Mukti know what she wanted to talk,smile sheepishly and ran with Anika.
She got busy in unpacking when she notice that Advitiya in jeans and black shirt was going out. "I am going out with some work. Will come back around 10." He informs her with a smile. She said, I thought we are starting from start. A fresh beginning. This cannot happen until we trust each other."
He looked confused,but let her continue.
"I know you are hiding something related to Anika. You tell me it's nothing just your drink state,but I can see how become disturb about that. It's not normal. Now this. I know you are lying. I know you are going to meet someone. Even freindship needs trust and truth."
Advitiya remain silent but his fury was visible. "I need some time till then i can expect my friend to be a friend not my wife. And i told you Niku is my daughter." He almost shouts in end.
"Our daughter,she is our daughter. I am her mother now and I do have the right to know about her." She said in same tone.
He calm himself and replied "yes you are right. And all you need to know is that she is our daughter that's it." He left. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Next day,things were back to normal. Advitiya went to her office, Vritika join her job and and Anika to school. Daya was sincerely happy for their kids now.
Vritika's school got over and she pick up Anika from her school as well. On the way she stopped the car and saw Advitiya with a women. He was pampering her. She didn't want to jump on conclusions but she was hurt and aghast. The Advitiya she knew is conserve type not like this. "Mama hum ghar nahi jana rhe" (are we not going home) Anika brought her to out of her daze. Anika was in her bedroom, sleeping. Vritika was thinking about what all she had witness today. Her thought got disturb by the call. It was Ridhima. Riddhima gave her the most Wonderful news. She is going to be a mother. Vritika soon will be bua (aunt). She was delighted and congrats her. She cuts the call with promise that she will visit them soon. Later she dialed Anish's no. Anish said "100 saal jayegi abhi teri baat hi ho rhi thi" (you will love long life,was talking about you only). "What" Vritika didn't understand. "You will know soon. Why did you call between." He answered.
"Congratulations..soon to be father." She shouted.
"Easy peasy, Viru, didn't want to hear my child's laugh just with one ear." He gibe at her.
"Whatever..wait I will call you back. Advitiya is calling me." She said rolling her eyes back like he can see her.
"Told you. Bye" he cuts the call.
"Get ready in 30 minutes. There is business party and my colleagues wish to see my wife. Come direct at office." Advitiya said but it look more like a order.
Since it was a business party,she dressed in a classy beautiful blue saree with backless blouse.
As she reached, she saw her again, comming out of his office.
The same women she saw with Advitiya, while returning home from school.
