We were on the road all afternoon like Warren had warned.

The car sped down the highway as I enjoyed the sights and Warren's company. He was fully relaxed today and I revelled in the giddy feeling of having him all to myself. I sang along to a few songs on the radio but mostly we just teased and laughed as he took us smoothly through the countryside.

When the sun was nearly low in the sky, Warren pulled over into the lot of a fast food place. When he made to kill the motor, I placed my hand over his. "No, don't!"

"You wish to steal my car?" he asked with a raised brow.

"No, I wanna do this!" I grinned and turned the volume up then clambered to the back to sit on the trunk, singing along at the top of my lungs. Warren exited the car and came to stand beside me, watching me with a smirk. "How are you going to order from here?"

"You know what I like," I dismissed with a wave. "Now hurry up!"

He shook his head on a laugh but strode away towards the shop. I watched him walk away, taking a moment to admire my gorgeous boyfriend.

A long moment.

Did I mention that he was looking yummy? No? How did I skip that?

When he pushed the door open, he winked at me over his shoulder with a huge grin and stepped in. I blushed deeply at being caught staring. When the song ended and something I didn't recognise came on, I glanced around me with a happy sigh.

I was in a ridiculously beautiful car that I was dying to test out, sitting in a stunning dress, surrounded by a beautiful near sunset as good music swirled around me. And the best part? I was here with the man I loved, the man I could finally call my boyfriend again after months of agony, and we were headed to some mysterious getaway. I smiled and giggled to myself. Life could not get any better.

One Direction's Steal my girl suddenly came on the speakers. I remembered how obsessed Anya had been with it a few years back and laughed. Warren stepped out in the middle of the first verse and raised both brows, laughing at me as I waved my arms and sang happily. He got to me during the chorus and dropped the food bags onto the seat at my feet. Taking off his shades, he leaned in for a kiss as he whispered the line, "Find another one 'cause she belongs to me."

I giggled into the kiss. "You listen to One Direction?"

He grinned and, gripping the car top, easily leapt up and over the side, settling down next to me. Then, his eyes on mine, he sang along,

I don't exist if I don't have her
The sun doesn't shine, the world doesn't turn (alright)

But I know, I know, I know for sure

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one 'cause she belongs to me

He wrapped an arm around my neck to pull me in and kissed me as he playfully hissed threats to make me stop laughing. The song drew to an end while he kissed me.

"Shall we?" he finally asked, his eyes low and tender.

I pouted. "How much further?"

"Not long, barely and hour."

I perked up. "Can I drive now?"

"On our way back, kitten." He flicked my nose.

I wrinkled my nose, letting him draw me down to the seat. "Kitten?"

He handed me a bag before he stepped out so he could get into the driver's seat.

I wiggled between seats to my seat. "First angel now kitten?"
