It took two months, but I started to feel sick every morning and I never got sick. I got out off bed and ran to the bathroom and puked my guts out. "Luke!" I screamed from the bathroom between pukes. "What Alice?" He replied and I didn't care I felt like I was dying. "I need to go to the hospital!"

"Why would you need to go to the hospital?" "I feel like I am dying!" "Oh well get in the damn car." He said as he went and got dressed. I got up and hobbled to the car hunched over. "Luke please hurry!" I yelled at him from the passenger seat of the car. "I am hurrying." He said as he ran out with a bucket and the car keys. He got in the car and handed me the bucket. "Here if you feel like you're gonna throw up again do it in there." "Okay." I said and he drove me to the hospital.

When we got there he wanted to get me inside faster so he picked me up and carried me. "Okay if anyone asks you're my daughter okay?" "Yes I said leaning my head on his shoulder. He walked in and signed me in, then we waited for 30 agonizing minutes for someone to call us back. "Alice Demacia." The nurse said and Luke carried me back to a room that she lead him to. "Okay so Alice what's the problem today?" She asked sitting on a stool next to the bed I was in. "I woke up this morning and felt really sick and then I started puking and my stomach hurts really bad." I said holding my stomach. "This may seem like a weird question, but have you had your period yet?" "Yes." "Have you been sexually active?" I knew I had to be truthful with her but I was scared so I looked at Luke to see what his face looked like. He seemed okay with the question so I answered. "Yes I have." I said and let a tear slip from my eye thinking of Mason. I hadn't seen him since that night.

"Okay I want you to go into the bathroom and pee in this cup, can you do that for me?" she asked handing me a small cup. "Yeah I can do that, I have to pee anyway." I said grabbing the cup from and walking into the room's bathroom. I peed into the cup and then brought it out to the nurse, and she said she would be right back with the results of the pregnancy test. "Alice if you are pregnant then I will finally get what I want, I will be a father." I knew I couldn't tell him that it might not be his kid so I just smiled and nodded. The nurse came back in about ten minutes later with a chart and remorse on her face. "Well I have the results." She said as she turned to Luke "Are you her dad?" "Yes I am." He said in a very dad like tone. "Well you daughter is seven weeks pregnant. I am sorry I know it must be hard on both of you." She said as she gave Luke paperwork to sign so I could leave.

When he finished signing me out we walked back out to the car, my stomach feeling a lot better. The whole drive back to the house I was thinking about when and how I was going to tell Mason, because it could be his kid. As soon as we got home Luke left for work, and I knew I had the house to myself for the day

I was sitting on the couch looking down at my stomach imagining the small child growing in there. Then I heard a knock at the door and went to answer it thinking it was one of Luke's buddies. "Luke's at work." I said as I opened the door to see Mason standing there. "I know." He said as he pulled me into a kiss and picked me up shutting the door, he carried me to the bedroom but when he sat me down I knew I had to tell him. "Mason stop, I can't." I scooted back and sat up on the bed. "Lucy, what's wrong did something happen?" He asked sitting down next to me. "Yes kind of. Im...." I said and then the tears started to fall and I buried my head in his shoulder. "Mason im pregnant and I don't know if its yours or Luke's baby." I said still crying. "You're pregnant?" "Yeah if you want we can go to the hospital and we could see who's baby it is by a paternity test." I said trying to help the situation. "Yes I would really like that. I only have a learners permit though." "It's fine I was just out there, there is no cops I promise." "Okay get in the car." "Okay." I said as I got up and put my shoes then went out to the car and buckled in.

"Mason please don't be mad at me." I said putting my hand on his knee. "Lucy how could I be mad it's not your fault it's either mine or Luke's." "Mason, why did you kiss me in the store the first day I ever saw you?" I asked holding my knees to my chest. "Because I could see you needed it." "Oh, okay. Will you be mad if it's your kid?" I asked fighting the urge to cry again. "No, why would I be mad if it was my kid?" "Because you're only fifteen you have your whole life ahead of you, you don't need to be tied down to me with a kid." I said knowing I was even younger than him but yet I didn't have a life ahead of me. My life was what Luke chose for me, and even if this kid was Mason's he wouldn't be the father of it because Luke thinks I have never been with anyone else but him... "Lucy, can you hear me?" He said moving his hand in front of my face. "Uh yeah, what?" "We're here that's all we parked about five minutes ago." "Oh okay well lets get this over with." I said getting out of the car and walking straight into the ER and signed myself in.
