It's been a week later and me and lonzo still haven't spoken to each other . Kyle tries to talk to me whenever I'm at the facility because I'm usually there to help coach out and the trainers .
I just got out the shower from going to the gym earlier and put on my black and blue ice cube shirt with grey boy shorts and my black and blue Jordan's. Today was the day of Kyles birthday party and this whole week I've been debating if I should go , but I told him before that I would go so I had no other choice plus I was just gonna drop his gift off, which was colognes and a box of all his favorite candies,games, his favorite drink and some little more stuff .
You probably think I'm going all out but this is the smallest thing I ever did for somebody's birthday. I comb through my straight hair and grab everything I need and head to my parents house.

" honey I'm home !" I yelled and seen mom in the kitchen and seen the camera so I know they were filming for the show . " hi mommy " I smiled and we gave each other a hug . " whatcha doin ?" . I rested my elbows on the counter . " oh nothin , I'm waiting for lonzo so we can make some lunch together " . I stood up quickly I scrunched my eyebrows " lonzo here ?" . " yes , i am ." He came from upstairs and into the kitchen and I just rolled my eyes at him . " still got that stank ass attitude " he chuckled . " still got all that acne " I told him and he just mugged me .
" lani ?! " . I hear and seen melo come downstairs and he hugged me . " I missed you ugly " . He said and next to me . " awe I miss you too kid " I rubbed my hands on his waves . " is dad here ? " I asked melo and he shook his head . " he was handing some stuff for basketball with gelo ." I nodded my head . " melo somebody wanna talk to you " zo laughed and handed melo his phone . " my boy melo ! You coming to my party tonight ?" I heard the voice and instantly knew it was Kyle . I tried moving away but Melos fat ass head was on my shoulder . " fasho nigga , I'll drive down there " . " um no , lamelo your not driving in the dark ." I said and he moved the camera on to me . " hey lelani .." Kyle said and I look at the camera and he was shirtless with sweat all over him , I'd be lying if I said he didn't look attractive. We stared at each other and I just waved . " okay so you gone take me lani ? " melo asked and I just nod my head " yeah I'll take you " .
Melo handed zo his phone and lonzo stayed on FaceTime with Kyle . " grab your clothes and come on " I told melo and he ran upstairs to get his stuff . " bye mommy, I'll come by again and we can go out to eat or something." I hugged her and kissed her cheek as she said bye . " I'm in the car melo !" I yelled and went out side to my shiny white Tesla and played nba young boy as I sat and waited for melo . My phone dinged and I picked it up , seeing it was from Kyle . ' can you come over .?' . I blowed air out between my lips and texted back ' no . I have melo with me ' . He texted back quickly saying ' come to my party tonight , please . ' I left him in read and little did he know that I was coming... just for five minutes tho . I heard the door open and melo got in with a bag and put his seatbelt on . " wanna get some food ? " . I asked already knowing his fat ass was gone say yes . " Chick-fil-A?" He asked me and I nodded my head and turned the music up and drove off tho get our food and then to my house .

" lani hurry the fuck up !" Melo yelled from downstairs . I was in my closet putting on my watches and necklaces, even if I'm only going for a couple minutes who said I can't look good ? (Outfit above ) . I sprayed perfume and turned off everything and ran downstairs, grabbing kyles gift and my stuff . " finally , come on " I hit melo in the head and we got in the Audi . I texted Kyle for his address and he sent it right away and I drove right off , this man lived 15 minutes away and I didn't even know.

We pulled up to his house and you could hear the music outside. We get out the car and I grab his Gift while melo already made it in and I mentally rolled my eyes . I took a deep breath and walked in . " lelani ! I ain't know you was coming ! " Brandon says and gives me a hug . " kuz opening presents right now , this way over here !" He led me to the huge living room where I saw a bunch of familiar faces and my brothers and a lot of basketball players . " kuz you got another present " Brandon tells him and I walk with the crowd as they watched him open his stuff . I walked in front and his eyes met up with mine and as much as I wanted to look away , I couldn't . " happy birthday kuzma " I smiled slightly and he stood up and took the box , holding up the stuff I got him . " yoo she got me the new 2K20 , let's go !" Him and his friends hyped him up as they looked through the rest of the gift in there as everyone else started dancing and going back to whatever they were doing . He comes up and hugs me.. something that I missed and he stopped smelled good . " thank you lani .." he whispered in my ear . "No problem .. I'm gonna head out now ." I started walking away but he walked after me . " wait! Let me talk to you , please " he walked in front of me. " Kyle I-I don't know, I said I was only comi-" he cut me off . " just 5 minutes, please ?" . He gave me a look that I couldn't resist and as much as I wanted to leave .. I gave in . " fine ." He pulled me into a room and closed the door , I looked around and it looked like a workout room matter of fact , it was . " thank you for coming , you look .. amazing." He smiled at me but I kept my eyes off of him . " thank you ." I told him. " look I'm sorry okay ? You have every right to be mad at me but Me and the boys joke around like that all the time . " . I look at him with a stank face . " you know that wasn't a joke . And since you 'don't do relationships ' , you can leave me alone for all I care because I'm not just gonna be someone you hit and quit !" . He scrunched up his eyebrows " I'm not trying to do that with you lani . That was me in my past when I was in college and didn't know what I wanted ! " . I rubbed my face with my hands " it doesn't even matter o-okay !? We don't even know each other and We aren't dating anyway ." I walked toward the corner where he had two treadmills at . I heard him walk to me and wrapped his hands around my waist, god I sure did miss that .
" but I want something with you ...I see myself possibly having a future with you" he whispered and turned me around . " that night we spent together was one of the best nights I had in a while..that's when we got to know each other ." He says while looking me in my eyes .
" lani we got all the time in the world to know each other more .." I looked up at him and rubbed my hands on his cheeks . " you know how lonzo would feel abou-" " I don't care what lonzo has to say , and I don't care what anybody else has to say ." He tells me and I bite the inside of my cheek. " I wanna get to know you too .. but if this goes somewhere Kyle, I'm not with the games. So if that's your intentions then let me know so I can leave. " He shook his head " nah , you can stay ." He smirked making a silly face and I pushed him away laughing. He pulled me back to him and kissed my cheek " ughh I missed this !" He picked me up and sinned me around making me laugh . " a week to long maybe ? " I smirked as he stopped and chuckled " yeah...a week too long ." We stared at each other and the way this man was looking had me wanting to ride his face . I took it upon myself and got on my tippy toes , I kissed his neck , his cheek and then he looked me dead in my eyes and I kissed him ....and he kissed back .
I pulled away and looked at my phone to see it was midnight " happy birthday " I smiled and he gave me a kiss . " thank you ma " he smiled and it warmed my heart .
