Me and Kyle walked into the backyard where the boys had music playing and some of them were talking and playing basketball.
" look at the love birds !" Josh said and I smiled .
" heyy bestie !" He came up and gave me a hug .
" my boy kuzma !" Melo said as he walked up to us and they did their little handshake . " waddup dip !" .
" mann , we finna play some ball ! " melo laughed .
" bet it up , come on " . He let go of my hand and jogged over to the court with some of the boys and melo .
" so you and Kyle huh..?" I heard and looked to my side to see dmo . I blushed " yeah .." I turned my head towards Kyle and smiled .
" you know nessa here ?" . I heard another voice and it was gelo . I raised an eyebrow " who invited her?" .
I didn't mind she was here , but I didn't invite her soo ...
" I did duh " gelo said and I rolled my eyes at him .
" me and dmo fina whoops these boys in basketball tho , later !" . They both ran off to the court.
I went to go sit down in one of the chairs on the side of the court and watched the boys play .
" heyy girl !" . Nessa had sat down next to me .
I smiled " heyy ! How you been ?" .
She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear "I've been good ! I see you and your boo are together now " she smirked, making me laugh .
" yepp ! Asked me to be his last night " I smiled just thinking about EVERYTHING that went down last night . " girl is he here !?" . She asked a little too excited for my liking but I brushed it off .
"Yeah he's...right there in the black jean jacket with an orange shirt " I pointed and she smiled .
" ahh okay girl !!" She nudged me a little , both of us laughing . " baby ! Can you get me a water " Kyle yelled and I nodded my head .
I told nessa I'll be right back as I jogged to get Kyle a cold water , when I looked up I seen lonzo through the screen door in the kitchen ...all hell is finna break loose .
I hurried back to the court and opens the water for Kyle as he drunk some .
" zo just got here " I whispered to him . He shrugged "you good ? " he whispered back and I nodded my head . " zo 2.0 in da house !" Dmo yelled and I turned around a little and seen zo walking onto the court .
" yeah , get back to the game " I nudged him a little but he shook his head .
" ima come sit down with you , my ankle starting to hurt a little ." I followed him to the chair I was sitting in and told him to sit . " baby where you gone sit at " he looked at me funny .
" I'm fine standing up , you are the one that needs to be sitting ." . I looked over and seen nessa kept eyeing Kyle...or maybe I'm tripping.
" my boy ! You still playing ?" Melo yelled as most of them looked over by me and Kyle .
" nah dip ! I still got this boot on my ankle ." He yelled back and i when I looked up zo was staring right at us from the court , he looked disgusted and just rolled his eyes .

" you and lani coming to Vegas with us tonight ?" Melo asked . Everyone was in the living room while the old heads and parents sat in the dining room . I was making me and kyles plate in the kitchen .
I heard someone walk in and I looked up to see zo .
We made eye contact and he looked like had something to say but just didn't...
" what lonzo ?" . I said lowly .
He scoffed " you guys dating now?" . I looked at him and didn't answer . " lelani !" He got a little loud making me jump a little.
" yes we are..since last night." . He shook his head .
" wh-wha-why ? Out of all the people in the world, you pick my teammate!?" . I stale faced him .
" because we like each other lonzo . There's nothing you can do about it except continuing being mad while WE are going to be happy ..in OUR relationship." I told him sternly and walked back to the living room .
All the seats were taken on the couches and nessa was sitting next to Kyle .
" babe can I sit on your lap ?" . He nodded his head .
" cmon na" he pulled me down slightly on his lap and I put our food down . " thank you " he whispered in my ear . I turned my head and kissed his temple , telling him 'you welcome' .
" nah dip I still gotta get me ankle right , plus I got practice tomorrow." Kyle responds to melo .
Zo walks back into the room and sits down next to dmo and Cassius.
" dip what you doing for your birthday?" I asked .
" a party duh ! " we all laugh . Melos birthday is in two days , I don't know why he was going to Vegas for just one day and then come back ..but that's lamelo for you .

We just got done telling everyone goodbye and got back in kyles car . I yawned as I put on my seat belt .
" you wanna go home or stay at mines ?" He ask as we pull off . " I'll go home , I'll see you in the morning at practice tho " . He nodded and laid his hand on my inner thigh while I rubbed my hands/acrylic nails up and down his tattooed arm .
