Elena was going to call Ariel when she stopped at the doorway to her daughter's slightly open room. Seeing something was about to happen between Grey and Ariel and by the look they had on their faces, she knew exactly what was about to happen. She quickly contacted her husband through the "Angel's whisper".
She expected only her husband to come, not the whole family.
"Shh, let's not disturb them," Elena said in a mutter as they watched Ariel and Grey.
Elena remembered the time she connected her bond with Raguel. Raphael was the only one present on that day. She smiled at the memory and held her husband's hands as they watched them.
Ariel moved closer to Grey, smiling wide. Ariel and Grey were not aware of their family standing outside the door. They had centered their attention on themselves and the outside world did not seem to exist.
Grey stretched his arm forth and Ariel placed her hand in his. They both gasped at the sturdy feelings and emotions that hit them at the same time.
Grey held Ariel's hand tighter but Ariel was not feeling satisfied. She moved nearer and hugged Grey tightly which made them sighed in contentment. Ariel pushed their chest together and Grey held onto her tightly and buried his nostril in her neck, inhaling deeply.
She smelled heavenly to him, and her scent was very comforting to him too.
They both pulled back a little and they could also feel the love they had for each other. Grey leaned in to kiss Ariel, which made Ariel lean more. But Grey abruptly stopped when his eyes met the entire family, who was looking at them. Ariel, who was waiting for Grey to seal their lips mutually, wondered why he stopped until she followed his gaze to the door and saw her family staring at them.
They each straightened up, leaving little space between them. They were not comfortable kissing in the presence of their household members yet, particularly Grey.
Ariel was aware her mother and father did not care who watched them while they kissed, and Ariel hoped she would one day be comfortable to do it with Grey.
Ariel noticed the warm smile her Dad, Mom, and her family had on their faces. It made her smile widely.
Anna moved ahead and hugged her son tightly. "I'm so proud of you son," she whispered.
She knew her son had come a long way from hating Angels to have a soulmate who was an Angel, and had ultimately accepted his fate. She was so thrilled that words could describe how delighted she felt. She was certain her son would have the eternal love of a soulmate which he deserved.
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she pulled back a little and kissed her son on his forehead.
"I love you, son," she whispered again.
"I love you too, Mom," Grey murmured as he wiped the tears from his mother's eyes.
Anna held her son tightly after she heard him say he loved her. She had never doubted her son's love for her but hearing him say it today made her extremely happy.
Ariel, who was wrapped in a large hug by her parents, watched Grey with a smile.
She later separated from her mother and father and stood close to Grey.
"I'm so happy for you guys," Samael said with a smile as he hugged his granddaughter and patted Grey on the back.
Samael knew that Grey was not trusting of Angels now, but he knew Grey would learn to trust them someday.
"Alright people, let's head downstairs," Elena said as she led the way out of the room, leaving Grey and Ariel standing inside.
Grey took Ariel's hand and played with her fingers. "I can't believe it has finally happened," he said softly.
