Dev stares at arnav as he walks towards the dining table....with his hair dishelved and still in yesterday's clothes....

DEV: good morning

ARNAV: good morning to yourself

DEV: your in a good mood

ARNAV: i woke up on the kitchen floor

DEV: am not your wife

ARNAV: everything hurts

DEV: that's called a hangover

ARNAV: seriously it's as if someone is repeatedly hammering me on the head

DEV: so are you going to tell me what happened yesterday??

ARNAV: no

DEV: thank you so much...i was afraid i was going to seat through another one of your sob stories...infact you found me practicing how to sleep with my eyes wide open...

ARNAV: I can't seem to find my phone

DEV: where is it??

ARNAV : I just told you I can't find my phone... why would I say that if I knew where it was??

DEV: why are you telling me in the first place??

ARNAV : have you seen it anywhere??

DEV: no... had I seen it anywhere,  would I ask you where it was??

ARNAV : you give me a  headache... I will look for it when I come back... i have to go...

DEV: go where??

ARNAV: i have to meet my mom

DEV: looking like that??

ARNAV: like what??

DEV: you haven't showered.. You are still in the same clothes as yesterday....you rick of alcohol... should I go on??

ARNAV :  I don't care

DEV: atleast have breakfast

ARNAV: i don't have the appetite for food

DEV: i won't ask twice

ARNAV: then don't

DEV: fine more for me

ARNAV: i really have to go

DEV: why do you look sad arnav, turn that frown upside down

ARNAV: i prefer my frown in it's traditional orientation

DEV: try smiling...a day without laughter is a day wasted

ARNAV: why cover up my pain with a smile...??

DEV: am going to go ahead and stop you there...for my own sanity

ARNAV: i should leave

DEV: why are you so serious arnav??

ARNAV: this is important...

DEV: why??

ARNAV: because am about to lose another one of my parents...

DEV: why would you say that??

ARNAV: don't mind me...enjoy your breakfast ...i will be on my way out....
