Lydia was back in the swamp area, a wall of grass, about six feet tall, was in front of her. 'There best not be any snakes in here.' When Lydia reached about halfway through the grass, a noise from above distracted her. It was Conrus, he was talking to a large armored figure, they looked very threationing.
"HELLO UNDYNE! SO, ABOUT THE HUMAN I CALLED YOU ABOUT EARLIER... DID I CAPTURE THEM? UM NO, BUT I DID TRY... WHAT? YOU'RE GOING TO CAPTURE THEM? BUT UNDYNE YOU DON'T HAVE TO YOU SEE... I-I UNDERSTAND I'LL HELP YOU CAPTURE THEM. GOODBYE UNDYNE."
Lydia waited until Conrus left before she moved again, but the grass rustled, attracting the attention of the armoured figure named "Undyne". *Clunk, Clunk* *Clunk, Clunk* When Undyne reached the precipice of the ledge that was above Lydia they looked down into the grass. After summoning an energy spear, they looked some more before giving up and disappearing into the shadows. Lydia ran out of the tall grass. The yellow monster child from the last chapter ran out of the grass as well.
"Yo, did you see the way she was staring at you? That. Was. Awesome!! I'm sooo jealous! How'd you get her attention? Ha ha C'mon! Let's go watch her beat up some bad guys!" Once again this small child ran off before Lydia could fully process everything they said.
As Lydia continued to explore Waterfall she found that she really liked this area. It was full of life, and not freezing cold (like some other place).
Some time later Lydia finds a piano, after Lydia started pressing the keys randomly some weird door opened up. When Lydia tried to take the so-called "Legendary Treasure" some random dog with a lenny face showed up and took the treasure. Sierra noticed the name on the dog's collar was "Annoying Dogbie".
Many adventures later and Lydia was talking to Jaestablook again, who just mumbled something about BTS or something then started taking selfies and uploading them to Monstergram. Lydia decided to leave them to it.
Even more adventures later and Lydia met some turtle named Verne or Gerson or whatever. He told Lydia about some monster legend that says something about an angel freeing monsters or killing them? Lydia forgot the second he stopped talking.
Later Lydia found a hidden village that filled her with... something? Not DETERMINATION just... something. The village was filled with these strange animal-like creatures with a lenny face. They were all named Ammie, except one who was named Jeff or something. Lydia didn't stay long, but still got scammed into some weird almost cult where highschool kids are just harassing a poor band teacher. One of the Ammies had photoshopped the teacher's face onto a skeeball machine?
It was what felt like hours with many adventures and stuff, that I'm too lazy to type, before Lydia had to save the strange monster child from falling off a bridge, followed by more adventures before Lydia reached a cliff. Undyne was standing at the top armor glistening menacealy.
"Seven human souls, and King Asgore will become a god. We collected six already. Do you understand, we need your soul to free ourselves from this dark prison." Undyne turned to look at Lydia.
"Before our battle must take place, it is customary for those who travel this far to hear the tragic tale of our people." Lydia sat down, ready for a long tale that she would most likely forget the second it was over.
"It all started, long ago... You know what? SCREW IT! WHY SHOULD I TELL YOU THAT STORY? WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO DIE!?! NGAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Undyne took off her helmet, her long, red ponytail flowing in the nonexistent wind, and started talking once again, but Lydia was a little distracted from the speech. It turns out Undyne... was a light blue ditto with fish fins and an eyepatch? A ditto, like you know, the Pokemon?
