Chapter 7: Boyfriends!?

OJHGDJHSJS GUYS IM SO SORRY IM TRYING MY BEST KEEPING UP WITH THE REGULAR POSTING BUT HOMEWORK IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE😭😭😭 OK BUT HERE COME GET UR JUICE

"KAMBEEEEEE!" Saeki yelled running towards him in the parking lot, hugging him tightly with an ugly cry. "W-WE WERE hic SO WORRIED ABOUT Y- hic YOUUUUU!"

"Uh- Saeki I forgot to mention...because of the injury he lost some cough cough if not all cough cough of his memories."

She almost froze then looked at Kambe and cried again, "NOOOOO! KAMBEEEEE! YOU WERE SO YOUNG..SO INNOCENT!" she cried and yelled.

"He's not dead Saeki," Teppei snapped rolling his eyes as he looked at Kambe. "We heard what happened, what the hell were you thinking?! Did you-" he looked like he was about to scream at him. I didn't know he cared that much. "Ah, we talked about it before he forgot..he..did it to protect me." I said, sounding very proud as everyone went silent, then Saeki smirked. "Soo..did he tell you then?" She looked like whatever it was he wanted to tell me, she was about to scream out on the spot. "Uhh...no? What do you mean?"

"HE LOOOOOOVES YOU!"

Well I knew that already..but..I still couldn't help but smile and blush, which made everyone else smile. "U-uh well..he kinda already did-"

Daisuke looked confused, "What? But wouldn't Haru already know that? I'm his boyfriend after all! He says with a smile cuddling my shoulder wrapping his arms around me. Everyone got dead silent. "BOYFRIEND?!" Saeki yelled with a shocked yet happy expression. "OH MY GOD! BOYFRIENDS! Well I guess it would make sense but...wait- how would-" This is my cue to pop in.

"Er..Kambe can you wait at the car for me? I'll be there in a sec." He nodded and walked to my car in the parking lot. I lowered my voice looking at the group, almost ashamed. "When he lost his memory and he asked what our relation was I sorta..well.." Keiji and Saeki went bug eyed, "You lied to him?! But what if he gets his memory back?" Keiji asked, clearly more worried about me than the actual situation. "Can you guys just..play along? Even if he does get his memory back he sort of..well...kissed me and-"

"HE KISSED YOU?!?!" Saeki screamed at the top of her lungs, I quickly covered her mouth. "Yes! Now be quiet! Look, I have this under control. You guys just please go along and when he does get his memory back, I'll think of something." I whisper, now thinking to myself how I should play this. "Haaaaarruuuuuuuu! Are you coming or what?" Kambe called, dangling the keys to the car in the air. "I think I like this Kambe better." Teppei said snickering, resulting in Saeki elbowing him in the shoulder. "Ow-" 

I start walking towards the car waving at everyone. "See you on Sunday!" Sunday was my next shift, "Oh! Make sure to let the first division know he's safe but will be off for a couple days to heal!" I say, looking at Yukihiro as he gives me the thumbs up and we head back to my house. I open the door as Kambe walks right in looking around like a kid in a toy store. "Wow! This is where you live? It's very nice," He looks at me and smiles. "You should see your place." I say jokingly, "Hm?" He tilts his head "Oh nothing, nothing."

I take off my coat and tie, hanging them on the coat rack. "Ah, Kambe why don't you go take a shower? It was cold outside and I don't want you to get sick." He smiles and nods, heading to the shower as I prepare dinner. Roasted shrimp with rice and pickled vegetables, as well as pouring us some Sake. I sit down, adjusting my sitting as Kambe walks out with his hair flopped down wearing a big red hoodie with a yellow star in the middle. Adorable. He sits down as we eat together almost in silence, though it made me happy as I took it in a way how he must really like the food. 

After we finish eating we sit down in my room watching random shows on the TV for hours until it's well past midnight and I was getting exhausted. I yawn a little stretching my arms up, "Kambe..I'm gonna go sleep," I say slowly making my way to my bed, "Ah- Do you want a futon?" I ask him turning off the lights and switching on the small lamp next to the bed. He shakes his head slowly. I sit down confused, "Then where are you gonna sleep?" He looks at me a little embarrassed, then sits down next to me poking my arm. I can feel my face start to heat up, so was his. "O-oh..uh..ok" I lay down slowly, he follows suite snuggling into my chest as I turn off the lamp. I put my hand on his head.

"Goodnight Kambe, sweet dreams."
