I woke up, and it was light out. I looked at Amy, she was sleeping. I secretly got her phone, and checked the time. "9:18." I whispered to myself. At that moment I noticed Coco was not right beside me like he was last night.
"Coco? Come here, girl!" I called out. I was not surprised that she did not wake up. She could sleep through anything.
Oh, I never told you about my camp. Well, it's not good. It's just in the middle of the forest, and we just have this trap all the way around it so it keeps walkers out a bit. It's still really dangerous, but we don't have anywhere else to go.
I walked towards the sting that we call the 'trap' to keep zombies out. I crouched and went under it. I help my knife in my right hand. I was ready to kill. My hands are sweating like crazy.
"Coco! Come here, girl!" I yelled out to Coco.
I walked for about ten minutes looking for Coco. I was starting to get really scared.
"Coco! Your scaring me! Just come here, girl!" I saw her coming in view, she was running at me so fast. Then I noticed, it was her, but in zombie form. Running at me in full charge. I never knew animals could be one. I started sobbing.
My legs felt like jello. I was so weak, and I fell to the ground. I was so scared, mad, and sad all at the same time.
"AHHHHH!!!" I screamed as loud as I could trying to wake Amy up.
"AMY HELP ME!!!" I sobbed even more. When Coco got closer, I noticed she was not a zombie, she had got rabies.
Bubbles of spit were coming out of her mouth, and she was trying to bite me. Then, I ended it. I stabbed her. That's when my heart broke.
