5 years and 360 million humans later...

" Mummy , look at this pretty cover of this book! Can you read it to me please?" Cassy looked up at Shareen with her big blue eyes, something she got from her father. Her chubby cheeks and irresistably cute lips. No one could resist her.

" Of course darling."

9 years and 932 million humans later...

"Daddy, i love the sandwiches. Can you make more please? " A smile lit up on her face as the little blondie asked cutely.

14 years and 2 billion humans later...

" Mum, which came first, the chicken or the egg?"

"Cassy, haven't you asked that before? There aren't any chickens anymore, so stop pestering your mum over that alright, sweetie?"

Cashmere looked cheekily at them, talking gibberish that made her parents laugh at her silliness. They didn't show her instead, how worn out they were. The day was coming, 8 billion more humans.

3 billion...

4 billion...

10 billion humans. Little Cassy was now an adult. 21 years old . And new ruler of B.O.T. She had been told of this news only three years ago, when she was maturing and turning into an adult. She took the news lightly at first but slowly knew that it was serious business. She could not ruin B.O.T , nor could she let out the secret of her being pure human.

With great powers come great responsibilities.

Cashmere fiddled around with her hands as her head hung with shame. The whole world was laughing at her, right in her face. Her face was red as a tomato. Shame, it was that she felt. Utter shame. She wanted to burst right through the door immediately.

Suddenly, the noise faded out, laughter was getting softer and softer, but the incessant ringing was still in her head. She was losing her mind. Her vision went blurry as her head spun and she fell off the podium with a thunderous thud.

“Ow.” Was what she could manage, as she opened her puffy blue eyes.

“ Ugh, terrible dream,” As she turned off the fancy alarm she got from her parents.

Even for someone who didn’t know her, it was obvious that she had been crying. Let alone her parents.  The thought of that just reminded her that the whole world would be watching her tonight and each and every household would be tuning in to watch her become a laughing stock, or a proud ruler.

The family ate in silence. Shareen obviously had been crying all night, and  Glendon had been comforting her, the lack of sleep already affecting his focus badly.

Today,12 noon SBT( Standard B.O.T Time), a new ruler will be crowned . Cashmere was the receiver.

The  overwhelming silence was getting into each of them, like a slash in their hearts. Cassy  smiled at them, interwining her fingers with their hands. Her parents loved her, and she had to make sure they weren’t gonna worry for her. Reassuringly, she spoke, “ I’ll be fine. “

They stepped into each of their Xares when the  time came for them to go. Cassy was nervous. More than nervous. In fact, she was terrified. Her trembling hands locked the door of her spaceship-shaped Xare as she spoke up.

“ Take me too History Arena, Kreansed Boulevard."

"Destination will be reached in 6 minutes 56.68 seconds, Miss Schooling.

"Thank you Boris" She said halh- heartedly.

She had only 6-7 minutes to think of her future. And it wasn't looking good.
