T/W mentions of sexual assault. Violence (no blood).

It was certainly difficult to track time in space. A clock was placed in every hallway of the command ship, indicating the time back on the Starkiller base. Your body was thrown completely out of whack within hours. You sucked in a deep yawn whilst making your way to the medical bay to collect the pills you were required to take during that week. Your heels clicked softly against the metal floor, suddenly muting as they trekked over the carpeted floor of the medical bay. The girl at the front desk, a bubbly brunette human with a dimpled smile, grinned with glee as you walked in.

"My favourite regular," the girl giggled, her black bob falling perfectly whilst she moved.

You smiled, "my favourite drug dealer!" The two giggled. "How are you, Gene?" you asked.

You and Gene had been close for a long time. 'Best friends' was a big thing, close friends suited you better. Neither of you remembered exactly when you started being friendly, but you were both glad you had.

"I'm spectacular. I'm so glad you've finally come on a mission. Now I don't have to send you stupid invoices and I can just find you on this maze of a ship instead," Gene said with a giggle.

You leaned against the tall counter and pouted. "Hux didn't tell me it was going to be this long of a trip. I barely packed!"

Gene pouted back. "On the subject of the General, who's going to be reminding him to take his pills!"

"Don't worry, I've already stressed enough about that," you groaned, falling into a slouch over the counter.

"You've got a big name for yourself now! The girl who screamed during turbulence this morning," Gene informed with a laugh.

You groaned heavily, your head falling onto the counter. "I will never have good name in the public eye!"

"Aw, don't worry gorgeous. Put those good looks to use and overthrow the... superiors..." Gene's words dissipated into a fearful whimper.

Gene's dimples disappeared; her eyes fixated on the space behind you. Inattentive, you took a few moments to clock that the atmosphere in the room had shifted. Every other patron within the medical bay that didn't need to be there had already gone. You turned your head slightly. The corner of a black cape told you all that you needed to know. In a flash, you had stood up straight, your right hand creeping over the counter and begging Gene for your weekly pills. Gene slipped the bundle into your fingers and you nodded a quick goodbye before you made your way out of the room. Unfortunately, Ren was already on his way out too. You tried to make your way down the hallway faster than him, but your legs were too short. You could feel a kind of tension. It irritated you. So you stopped, facing him.

"Are you following me, Commander?" you teased.

Your mouth had gotten you into trouble multiple times before, but the atmosphere surrounding you made you feel like it was worth it. Ren continued to walk as you followed behind him.

"We just so happen to be going the same way, Assistant," Ren spoke, spitting the word assistant so to remind you of your inferiority.

"Why'd you try to kill me when I told you about this mission?" you asked, trying your hardest to keep up with his long strides whilst in heels.

"I didn't try to kill you. I was just feeling inconvenienced. I had unapproved plans I was hoping to get done," Ren responded.

"So, you just destroy things when you feel inconvenienced?" you queried.

Kylo spun and stopped, your frame almost stumbling into him. You looked up into the pit that covered his eyes.

"Did you want to find out?" Ren growled.
