Part Twenty

Grace glanced at the clock and noticed it was almost supper time. She opened her phone to see an incoming call from Clay.

“Yes?” she answered.

“Um, we kind of got… lost,” the embarrassed voice answered on the other end of the phone.

“Congrats, what was the last welcome sign you passed?”

“It was uh… Welcome to Williamsburg I think”.

“Clay, Williamsburg is an hour away, how the hell did you guys end up out there?”

“We just picked a direction and drove in it. We just thought we would let you know we won’t be home for a while.”

“Alright, just don’t die and do not for the love of god crash my car,” with that she hung up the phone and quickly ordered chinese take out for herself.

Moments after she set down her phone, her twitter notifications began to go off like crazy. Not wanted to be bothered with whatever her stans wanted her to see, she attempted to ignore it. Quickly she realized the power of twitter was too much for her to counter so she gave in and opened the video she kept being tagged in. It was a female streamer she had never heard of doing some sort of q&a stream. Grace pressed play expecting her to hear another streamer simp for the Dream Team.

“Next question comes from Bunnylovesu, they asked who my favorite and least favorite streamers are. Ooo, I love this question, I actually recently discovered this minecraft streamer. His name is Dream, you guys may have heard of him. He makes basic block game so much fun and innovative. I actually want to start streaming minecraft because of him,” the streamer answered.

Grace rolled her eyes, everytime another female mentioned any member of the DTeam, her stans always felt the need to let her know. They do understand she doesn’t own them right? Seeing there was only about a minute left in the clip, she decided to keep watching.

“As for my least favorite, I would definitely have to say Gracie23…”

“Excuse me,” Grace mumbled to herself, “who the fuck does she think she is?”

“She ruins every video she’s in with her ‘pick-me’ energy. Like come on, we all know she got all of her clout by sucking Dream’s dick. Hate to say it but I’d make a much better female member than her”.

Now beyond angered, Grace scrolled through the replies to try and find who this streamer was. After a few quick moments, she discovered their @. “Amber Wilde huh, lets see if she compares,” after finding her twitter, Grace had a field day roasting her, “Only 20K followers on Twitch? I have almost double that in subs. This bitch doesn’t even have a YouTube. Oop-” Once she had the dirt she needed, Grace quickly crafted her response tweet.

Grace laughed and closed twitter, she knew that her and Dream Team’s stans would take out the trash for her.

A/N- Surprise short update! I will be posting another (longer) part this week but I wanted to plug my Twitch for a second. I just started streaming Minecraft with my best friend on my Twitch which is skolannika . If you like the humor in this book you'll really enjoy the atmosphere of our streams! I'm super new to stream so you'd have to bear with me as I learn the ins and outs of Twitch for the xbox. We stream friday nights at about 8 EST. I really hope to see some of you there!
