The Morning After

The younger Grey opened her eyes slowly to the sound of a soft snore filling up the hotel room. It took Lexie a couple of seconds to fully let her photographic memory kick in.

You'd probably expect her eyes to widen or for her to let out a small gasp at the realization that she went to Mark Sloan's hotel room and begged him to "teach her" then there were laughs and heated make out sessions with many more rounds of sex before the two of them had eventually passed out in each other's arms.

Lexie slowly lifted her head off the rock hard yet incredibly comforting chest then she smiled tiredly when she saw the older man laying with his lips parted slightly and soft quiet snores coming out and she couldn't help but to let her smile grow.

Who knew Mark Sloan could look so peaceful yet so damn sexy even when he's asleep? It made Lexie wonder how many girls he let cuddle into his side and fall asleep with him or how many girls he sat with and ate junk food while laughing and talking for hours like her and Mark did last night

"It's rude to stare, Little Grey" a deep and husky voice said lowly with his eyes still closed but he could still sense her eyes on his.

Lexie couldn't help but to laugh as she played with the blanket, "you've seen me naked, we've had sex, and you've gone down on me more times than I could count in one night. I think you can call me Lexie now"

Mark leaned up slowly and rubbed his eyes before placing a hand on the small of her back, "what we did last night, it was amazing. And believe me, I've never stayed up with the girl talking and laughing and I've never cuddled them afterwards. You're different, Lex..but I promised Derek and I finally got him to trusting me and liking me again after the whole Addison situation. I can't ruin it.." Mark said with a small frown.

The brunettes face dropped at the realization then she nodded slowly before wrapping a sheet around her and quickly getting up, "right..I-I know that. I mean..I came here knowing it would only be a one night stand, I s-shouldnt expect more.." Lexie bit her lip.

Lexie felt a pair of strong hands on her shoulders and she must have been so lost in thought since she didn't realize he had gotten up out of bed and was now behind her.

Lexie let out a soft sigh as she felt Mark's lips began to kiss her neck, "what we did last night, that wasn't just a one night stand..I will not let it. I like you, Lex..like a lot and thats saying a lot since I usually don't do feelings."

Lexie turned around slowly to face him as she held the sheet tightly around her tiny body, "but Derek- I can't come between that.."

Mark just shook his head and placed a finger on her lips, "maybe we should take things slow and see what this is or whatever. Then..if we both still have feelings, I'll tell Derek. He will just need to accept the fact that I'm not using you.." Mark said softly and removed his finger to kiss her soft and plump lips.

The younger Grey smiled a little and nodded as she kissed him back, "I agree. But during this time of figuring out, I don't want you sleeping with anyone else, that's just wrong in so many levels."

The older man let out a chuckle and shook his head, "jesus, Lexie. I'm trying to change her..for YOU. I'm not gonna sleep around, I promise." Mark said sternly which caused Lexie to let out a sigh of relief.

"Well then how that it's settled, I need to take a quick shower then head home before Meredith realizes I'm gone" she gave him a quick kiss before grabbing her clothes from last night and running to the bathroom.

Mark watched as the brunette cracked the bathroom door then the sound of the shower came on and he smiled. He didn't know what this was but all he knew was that these were new feelings, GOOD feelings..he's never experienced this, not even with Addison. Mark shook his head and chuckled to himself before going to the kitchen to make her a quick breakfast for the short drive home but he remembered, no eggs. One of the many things she told him last night was that she was allergic to eggs.

Mark smiled to himself at the thought of what a life with Lexie would look like. It was soon but he didn't care, he knew he wanted to settle down eventually and well, he wants that with Lexie Grey herself.

Okay so this is a new story I'll be starting called "secrets" now there will be drama but I'm a sucker for romance and since we didn't get much on the show, this will have many slexie moments to come especially since it's a SLEXIE story. Just a warning..this story will have some mature themes and topics along with getting a little background of Lexie's life with her dad.
