While at the safe house, I pondered on a lot of things, such as how I didn't see this coming....how I didn't recognize Fred when I first joined. As I was deep in thought, Reddington sat next to me. "Penny for your thoughts?" He said. I chuckled and looked at him. "How did I not see this coming? How did I not notice Fred in the first place at all?" I replied. "Sometimes things sneak in and you don't notice until something happens." He said. I nodded. As we talked, my phone rang. I looked and saw that it was a collect call from the prison. My stomach dropped as I answered, "Fred?"  Reddington looked at me in concern and I gave him a concerned look back. "Kelly...I'm going to break out of here. When I do, you will pay." Fred told me, as he then hung up. I placed my phone beside me in shock. "Kelly? What's going on?" Red said. Waves of anxiety swept over me as I then replied, "He's going to break out..." .

I stayed at the safe house for another week. Things were fine until I was having lunch with Elizabeth, Ressler, and Aram one day. I stood up to go to the restroom to wash my hands when I felt a presence behind me. "Don't move." A voice said. I knew it was Fred. I signaled for my crew to stay back. "Fred...whatever it is you think you're going to do, be discrete." I said. He then led me at gunpoint toward the door and once we were far enough, he knocked me unconscious with the end of his gun.

I woke up two hours later, standing up and my arms over my head, my wrists tied to a pipe. "Good morning, sunshine." Fred scoffed. "Screw off." I muttered. With that, he struck me three times in the ribs and once in the face. I groaned in pain as I then spit out blood. "Why did you escape? What's your point? Revenge? You've already got it." I challenged him. He chuckled and said, "I'm untouchable. The feds can't catch me." "In your dreams." I uttered. Without notice, he pulled out his gun and shot me in both shoulders. I screamed so loud that the dead could hear me. Then, I passed out.
