Fighting To Survive

I went in and out of consciousness, in excruciating pain. I knew I was running out of time, so I had to think and do quickly... I somehow managed to saw through the rope by using one of my nails. Once I managed to free myself, I spotted a window and managed to maneuver through it without making a sound. I felt around my pockets to make sure I had my phone, because I knew I needed to call Reddington. I would have to do so once I was far away enough from Fred. I ran as far and as fast as my legs could take me. Once I got into civilization and blocking out the pain I was in, I called Reddington. "Kelly? Where are you?" I gave him my location. "Are you hurt?" He replied, great concern in his voice. "Yes...shot in both shoulders and bruised up. Please hurry... I'm afraid Fred already knows I've escaped and I'm losing a lot of blood." I replied. "We're almost there, kid." He assured me. I hung up and as soon as I did, they arrived. Reddington helped me into the backseat. On the way to the warehouse, I again went in and out of consciousness. "Stay with me, Kelly. Stay with me!" Reddington said.

A few minutes later, we arrived at the warehouse and I was rushed into emergency surgery. There wasn't enough time to put me under anesthesia to remove the bullets and do a blood transfusion, according to the doctor in charge, so Reddington held my hand throughout the excruciating process. However, after the first bullet was out and as they were trying to get the second out, I felt the bullet get stuck between a nerve and my bone. I cried out in pain. "We're going to have to separate the bullet in half in order to prevent nerve damage. Stay with us!" The doctor said. I nodded and looked at Reddington. "Raymond...I'm scared...if this goes wrong, Fred will win either way." I said between pained gasps. "We won't let that happen." He assured me. I closed my eyes and gritted my teeth as the surgeons continued to get the rest of the second bullet out. As soon as it was out and I was stitched up, I was put on another blood transfusion. I fell asleep, Reddington still by my side.
