Several days have passed, which were spent either with Louis either with Niall and Liam. Though the majority with Louis. He just couldn't seem to get tired of admiring him the entire day. Louis was becoming restless, he hasn't done shit in a month and that was bad. He need to consume his energy on something, anything. At first, Harry tried to calm him down and talk some sense into him which barely worked, earning him a lot of whining and a grumpy Louis. He spent his days painting before New Year's Eve arrived.

Harry hasn't stepped one foot in his house since his father told him his mother left. His beloved mother that would do anything for her baby. Only the thought made Harry sick. He hated her with ever inch of his existence. How could she be so selfish and leave her own child in the hands of an alcoholic? He saddens at the fact that he needs to return home sooner or later. Or whatever that place is. Louis was good enough to let him stay with him. He hasn't been to his own house either. Harry felt like he could find himself in Louis. It did something to him. Something he can't explain.

It was New Year's Eve. And surprisingly, Louis doesn't throw a party like he usually would. He stated that he hated everyone except Harry. And man, did that feel good.

" Harry, I'm sorry, but I can't spend another day in here. I'm not made for staying in my place. I need some action. " Louis started as he got up from the expensive couch they were sitting on.

Some action you say? Harry quickly chased those thoughts away. He could see that it was eating Louis alive.

    " Come on, I've got a plan. "

" Where are we going? We're dressed in pyjamas... " Harry furrowed his eyebrows, not getting up from the comfortable position.

He could say that Louis and him bonded lately and he felt that he was closer than ever to finally cracking him up. He'll never judge him.

Louis rolled his eyes playfully before tugging at Harry's sleeve. " Come on, Harold. We're wasting time. "

-

" Really? An electric boat? " Harry mumbles as they were sat next to a line of identical electric boats.

" Would you prefer a yacht? " Louis raised his eyebrows as he jumped on the boat.

Harry tried to hide the smile as he fonded over the white haired boy in front of him. " Do you even have a license? "

Louis smiles smugly as he shook his head and motioned for him to come. He helped Harry get on the boat by holding his hand. The contact sent shivers down Harry's spine and something began swirling in his stomach.

Louis didn't maneuver the boat half as bad as Harry thought he was going to. Excepting the fact that in the beginning he made some sudden turns that made Harry's stomach twist.

It was a quiet atmosphere, the only sound ringing in their ears being the boat engine. Harry was sitting on the comfortable coach behind Louis and not missing the chance to admire his beautiful back. He really wanted to express his feelings towards Louis but he was fucking scared. The thought made him gulp and look away momentarily. I love you so much, why can't you see?

" Harry? " Louis' high voice made him flinch as he wasn't prepared.

Harry panicked. " Who's driving through boat? "

" Relax, darling. It's on autopilot. " he chuckled as he sat down to Harry, nuzzling into his side.

He may act in a friendly way but to Harry, these gestures meant so much more. It took him all the strength he had to refrain himself from kissing him. " Look. " he whispered, hot breath fanning over the skin of Harry's ear.
