Chapter 4: Something Surpising

Joe watched as Dani disappered into the crowd. He had the urge to chase after her, but he didn't.

Joe looked at Kim and Luke. "I feel really bad for doing that."

Luke chuckled. "She'll be alright. Go buy her a surprise, she'll get over it."

Joe thought for a second, then he remembered the rose necklace Dani had pointed out in the gift shop.Joe turned and started pushing through people. While going through he was just about to make it out, when he knocked a man over.

Joe rushed over to him. "I'm so sorry sir! Are you okay?"

The man stood up and brushed himself off. "Yeah I'm fine, I'm just trying to get out of here. Long day listening to people audition. None of them being good for either part."

Joe thught, auditions? "Sir if you don't mind me asking. Auditions for what?"

"For new characters. I'm sorry to tell you, but you wouldn't fit the part as Belle or Ariel." The man said

Joe laughed.  "I know I can't. But I know someone who could."

The mans eyes widened. "Well it's nice to meet you. My name is Nick by the way. We are going to the audition area to continue this conversation.

Joe followed Nick past all the people and into the big castle. Nick lead him inyo a little side room, the room was decent sized. Including the door they came in, there was three doors.

"Okay so, this is where your friend shall be auditioning. She'll have to try on four outfits, which I will give you now and you can take them to your hotel. Can you come here Wednesday night at nine o'clock with her?" Nick said walking to one of the doors.

"Yeah we will be here. So are you bringing me to my hotel with the costumes?" Joe said following Nick.

"Yeah we'll leave right now." Nick said pulling out of the closet.

"Okay, can we stop at one of the stores first?" Joe asked helping with the costumes.

Nick nodded, they walked out of the room and Nick locked the door. They walked through the side stores so people wouldn't see them. They reached the store that the necklace was in, Joe grabbed the necklace gave it to the person at the counter, paid and left.

Joe sent Dani a text. *Where are you?* She replied quick *In the hot tub, why?* Joe thought for a second. *Just wondering, I'll be there in 25 minutes.*

They pulled into the hotel parking lot. Joe and Nick grabbed the costumes and brought them into the room.

Joe set up the costumes on the bed and couch in Dani's little room. Closed the necklace box and put it on the side desk. He grabbed his bathing suit, changed and went down to the hot tub.

Joe walked up behind Dani and scared her.

Dani jumped. "Jesus Joseph, no more surprises!"

Joe smiled. "Not yet there beautiful. I haven't given you the best surprise yet."

Dani looked at him. "Okay, hand it over than."

Joe put his hand in hers, pulled her out of the hot tub and walked her back to the room. "Okay, close your eyes."

Dani did as she was told, Joe opened the sliding door and lead her into the room. Joe turned around to make sure everything was in place. Kim and Luke were standing there with confused looks. Kim went to say something, but Joe shushed her and gesture them out.

Joe nudged Dani. "Okay open your eyes now."

Dani opened her eyes and her jaw instantly dropped. "What is this and how did you get these?"

"Well after you left I felt bad that I didn't go with you. So I went to go get you a present for you and I ran into one of the people who does auditions, he told me no one good has come yet. He was doing auditions for Belle and Ariel, so I told him about you." Joe explained.

Dani smacked his chest. "You did not!"

"I did, as you see it's right in front of you." Joe said

Dani jumped on him and kissed him. "Oh my god! This is the best thing anyone has ever done for me, you are the best!"

Joe smiled and wrapped her tightly in a hug, he eased up and looked at her, then kissed her passionately.

"Thank you so much. You are the best person ever." Dani said, she walked over to the side desk and picked up the little velvet box. "What's this?"

"That is a present for you. Go on open it." Joe said walking over to her.

Dani opened the little box, she smiled when she saw the rose necklace. "Joe this is too much."

Joe took the necklace and put it on her. "No Dani, it's too little."

Dani smiled, looked at Joe and then the yellow dress laying on her bed. She picked the big yellow dress up and went into the bathroom. Dani came out of the bathroom and Joe had moved the other dress of the bed and was sitting in its place.

Joe turned his head towards Dani. "Wow you looke stunning in that. But you should change into pajamas and come to bed.."

"Okie dokei." Dani said going back to the bathroom.

She came out of the bathroom in a a purple tank top and green shorts, Joe was in his boxers. Dani umped into bed and snuggled up to Joe.

"You aren't going to push me off again, are you?" Dani teased.

"No I won't, now go to bed." Joe said kissing her forehead.

Dani snuggled up on Joe's chest and closed her eyes.
