CHAPTER III.II: Affection

AT THE INFIRMARY

Agatha opened her eyes

"You okay now?" - Kieran sitting behind her

🌹Yeah, infirmary. I did faint.

That's why I can't remember anything after staring at the frog.

"You look terrible" - he said while holding his laugh.

"Oh, shut up..." - she said.

He chuckles

"So you can laugh now.." - she asked

"No, I'm not." - he turned his face back to serious.

"Yeah, right..." - She scoffed.

🌹It's awkward staying quiet like this.

"Hey, Evans. How old are you?" - Agatha

"24..." - Kieran

"No, I mean the vamp age, like real age" - Agatha

"Hmm... 99 vampire years and 24 human years old..." - Kieran

Agatha looked at him suspiciously

"It's true that you guys don't age huh?" - Agatha

"I was 24 when Evans made me as a vampire, I lived 99 years as Evans since then." - Kieran

"So you can Uhm, makes humans turned into vampires liked what Evans did to you?" - Agatha

"I can't answer that." - Kieran

"Oh, I'm sorry I asked too much." - Agatha

🌹I turned the mood back to the gloom.
Maybe I should share something as a quit.

She clears her throat and takes a deep breath.

"Hey, can I call you Kier? We're friends anyway right?" - she asked

"Friends?" - Kieran

"I was thinking about sharing a little secret to you just to be fair with what you shared with me.." - she excitedly said.

"What is it?" - Kieran

"Do you believe in Reincarnation?" - Agatha

"Not quite." - Keiran

"Actually, I was kissed by a spirit guardian and gave me a strange power to see the memories of my past lives." - Agatha

"A spirit Guardian?" - he confusedly asked.

"Yeah, it's weird but I know it's real...
and I know vampires do exist because of that." - Agatha.

"Is that why you're not scared when you see me like that?" - he seriously asked.

"It's odd, when I saw your friend earlier, I was so scared to death but when it's you, it's strange that I didn't flinch at all. You're different. Why is that?" - she gently explained

Keiran looked at her intensely.. and he slowly approach her.

"You're very different too... Anderson
You're making me do this.." - Keiran

He kissed Agatha gently

Agatha got startled.

"Uhm... I'm sorry... I just carried away." - Kieran flusteredly said.

"No...Uhm... It's okay... I don't think we'll end up being friends only anyway." - Agatha snickered replied.

Kieran got flustered.

🌹I just realized everything
The way I act when he's gone for weeks after pinning me down.
I got obsessed with how I'm gonna approach him after that. My mind is full of him being a vampire
and him being by himself.

He's the first person who talked to me first,
He's the to become my partner in Biology class,
and he's the first man who touched my lips of his.

It feels like I've known him for so long despite the fact that we've just met.
It feels like I've been waiting for him and longing for his existence.

I never had this feeling, but I knew I was in love.

After class, the Bell rang.

🌹We both left the infirmary together but it didn't last long when we saw Lautner Adams in the hallway.

He glared at me intensely as always
So I take a leave from the campus alone and let them talk.

Tomorrow morning,
I dreamed about the Roses again and held it carefully.
Maybe my recent incarnation liked roses a lot.

When I came to the campus,
Keiran welcomed me at the front gate.

AT THE ACADEMY

"I need to give you... something..." - he whispered said.

🌹I got excited and looked forward to what he got for me.
I was surprised it's a single Rose.

It's weird because it's the same color and shape as what I've been dreaming of recently.

"You're gonna love the scent. Try smelling it." - Keiran

Agatha smelled the Rose that Keiran gave to her.

"What a strange scent, it makes me diz--" - she suddenly got unconscious

When Agatha fainted, Keiran caught her falling...

"I'm sorry, Anderson...
This is the only way to save you.." - he said while holding back his tears.
