CHAPTER VII.I: Despair

AT THE CEREMONY HALL

Kieran accidentally smelled the scent of Rose.

"You should be more careful, Kier. This will be the second and the last I'm gonna use this Rose for your own sake." - Mathilda whispered to Keiran.

When Kieran collapsed from the Rose. Mr. Clayton caught him and the mistress Mathilda bite the neck of Kieran to give him a venom of pureblood Evans.

"The ceremony has ended. You can go to your chambers my Evans." - Mathilda wipes her mouth.

AT THE ACADEMY

AGATHA'S POV🌹

Tomorrow morning. I went to Academy. I'm bothered how the ceremony went well. I hope Kier's okay.

"Anderson!" - Lautner shouted while running toward her.

"Hey, Lautner. Did you get some news?" - she asked.

"Come with me. We're going to our secret hideout." - Lautner said.

Lautner dragged Agatha to the Library.

AT THE PRIVATE ROOM

"So this is the hideout huh?" - she chuckles.

Lautner nod.

🌹I thought coming here and meeting these twins will give me good news I've wanted.

But yes I was wrong,

Right after the moment, they both started to wear serious faces. I know it's not the good news as I was expecting.

"No, he's not." - Agatha suddenly talk.

"We haven't said anything yet." - Lautner replied.

Agatha cried in sadness.

"I'm sorry Anderson. It looks like he didn't avoid the Rose." - Lenora said while comforting Agatha.

"I overheard from the office he'll transfer to Florida. This will be his last day in the Academy." - Lautner

"No. That can't be. He promised." - Agatha.

"It would be better not to mention to him that Agatha knows about us. He'll gonna kill her this time. It's hard to approach him now because of his pureblood. His memory was erased by Rose that mistress performed. All in his mind is the Rule of Evans, nothing else. Sadly, He may not gonna remember you anymore... I'm sorry Agatha." - Lenora explained.

Lenora picks up her things.

"I have duties from the Adams. I need to go now." - Lenora said.

Lenora leaves the room.

🌹 "He'll not gonna remember me anymore."
The pain in my heart that it feels like I've been stabbed by a million thick needles after hearing those phrases...  

My past incarnation's fate repeats in my hand. She died and waste her faith in choosing me. I thought we can prove our love was unbreakable but I guess we both break down deep.

"Will you be able to attend class with him right now?" - Lautner worriedly asked.

"I'll try." - Agatha replied.

🌹We have biology class this morning.
And professor suggested again pairing up with Kieran.

AT THE LABORATORY

🌹Seeing his face without meeting our eyes is already breaking my heart.

For him transferring to Florida without even remembering me gives me terrible grief. Cooperating with him for our Activities without starting a conversation, watching him closely beside me but he didn't even give me a glimpse.

Our activity is about Pearson Biology. Very similar to chemistry because we need to study some of the basic movements in solution. I noticed that has been staring me, Bunsen Burner, he's like he's confused or in deep thought on something.

"Are you okay? Can we start now?" - she uncomfortably asked.

🌹I thought he'll reply to me,
But he just cleared his throat and just start moving for our biology activity.
He just ignored me, he keeps his distance from me, he never talks.
If feels he's not the same person that I know.

Agatha got distracted and accidentally dropped the flask.

She got startled and scratched by glass fragments.

🌹My scratches from fragments get stung and painful my heart is numb right after I saw my own blood from scratches.
I was more scared of him getting uncontrolled by his thirst for blood. I was foolish to tempt him with my blood, believing he might remember me with the scent of my blood.

He didn't flinch nor showed bloodthirst in his eyes that looks like he doesn't even bother the scent of my blood on him anymore.

That hurts me more enough that no matter what I do,

He'll never come back.

Now that he's a pureblood Evans and not the Kier I know.
