Chapter One

Cassandra's POV:

We pulled up to our new apartment. Caden (my little brother who was 7 years old) was peacefully asleep in the car seat beside. Our apartment was at the top but lucky they had elevators.

I payed the Taxi driver after he had unloaded our bags which weren't much since the moving truck carried most of our belongings. He gave me a sweet smile when I handed him the money and bid our farewells.

Once we got to our door I could see the boxes. Am guessing the moving truck got here before us. I turned the key to reveal a modern furnished penthouse with a slight hint of homeyness.

The view was amazing. Caden was on my side laying his head on my shoulder soundfully asleep. I shook him awake.

"Yes Cassy?" He yawned

"Look" I pointed Inside the apartment.

It was a 5 bedroom penthouse they all had bathrooms but the master bedroom was the only which had a bath tub.

The kitchen slightly bigger than the normal size kitchen of a house. Every room seemed to tell a different story.

I came upon this little library. Finally a place for peace. Once I saw it I knew most of my time would be There.
