Later that night after killing half of the frogs, they head to the tavern to order some food. With Aqua angrily slamming hear hands on the table.

*Slam!*

Aqua: "Theres no way the three of us can take them on alone! Lets recruit more allies!"

Y/N: "Yeah, even though I killed one alone, it took like 5 minutes to kill."

Kazuma: "5,000 eris per frog, we risked our lives and earned no more than part time construction worker pay..."

Y/N: "That may be true and all, but these toads are suprisingly very good." He responds, pleased with the toad meat. (Pause...)

Aqua: "Yeah, its a little ruff but the textures quite nice!" Also pleased.

Kazuma: "Anyway Aqua, you say allies but we're just beginners with no decent equipment. Do you really think anyone would party up with us?"

Aqua: "WelyougotmeandY/Nsoalli-"

Y/N and Kazuma: "Swallow your food then talk!"

Aqua gulps down her beer.

Aqua: "Im an arch priest one of the most advanced jobs there is, and Y/N is also an advanced class. People would kill to have us in their party. If I offhandly asked, there would be tons of people saying, 'Please take me with you!'" She replies.

Aqua: "Now that thats out of the way, hand me another piece of frog Y/N!"

Y/N: "Eat up till your hearts content!"

Aqua: "No ones coming...." Her head faceplanted onto the table with dissapointment.

Y/N: "Half a days passed since Aqua put up that stupid 3 year old drawing of a poster..."

Aqua: "It's not stupid!"

Kazuma: "We should lower the bar a little here. Recruiting only members in advanced jobs are too strict."

Y/N: "Yep, and at this rate no one will come, and Kazuma is the only non elite class so i'll feel bad if- "

??: "I happened to notice your poster."

All of them turn to the mysterious voice, as they all see a brown haired little girl in some mage or witch looking clothes and a witch hat, with red eyes.

??: "That we would meet is a fate chosen by the world itself. I have anxiously awaited your arrival of those such as yourselves!"

??: "My name is Megumin! One who controls explosion magic, the strongest of all offensive magic!"

Kazuma: "Um..."

Megumin: "Do you too desire my forbidden strength which is so almighty!"

Y/N: "Huh?..."

Megumin: "Then show me thine resolve to peer into the ultimate abyss with me! When man stares into the abyss, the abyss stares back!"

Kazuma: "Are you here to poke fun at us?"

Megumin: "N-no..."

Aqua: "That red eye, are you a crimson demon?"

Megumin: "Indeed! I am Megumin, user of the finest magic the crimson demons possess! My lethal magic demolishes mountains, smashes boulde--"

*Thump!*

The girl stumbles to the floor, then her stomach starts to grumble.

Kazuma: "Hey whats wrong?:

Megumin: "I havent eaten anything in three days..... do you have anything I could eat?"

Kazuma: "Sure, I dont mind treating you."

Megumin: "T-Thankyou."

Kazuma: "Hey whats with the eyepatch? If you're hurt Aqua can use her 'one' strong suit and heal you."

Aqua: "My 'one'!?"

Megumin: "This is my magic item that suppresses my almighty magical powers. If I were to take it off a great catastrophe would befall this world!"

Y/N: "Oh, so it"s like a seal?"

Megumin: "Well... that was a lie... I just wear it for looks..."

Y/N, Kazuma: -_-

Kazuma pulls on the eyepatch of hers.

Megumin: "Im sorry please dont pull on it!"

Aqua: "You know Y/N, crimson demons are born with high intelligence-"

Megumin: "Please cut it out, actually it'll hurt if you just let go, so please put it back slowly where it was!"

Aqua: "-and possess high magical power. Generally they're all magical experts and all have really weird names."

Y/N: "I see..."

Megumin: "Thats right slowly... slowly--"

*Smack!*

Megumin: "Ow! My eye!"

Kazuma: "Sorry, I thought you were making fun of us. You were talking gibberish and gave us that weird name."

Megumin: "Calling my name weird is rude. From my point of view it's everyone else in this town who has a weird name."

Y/N: "If you dont mind me asking, what are your parents names?" He asks her as she gets in a weird pose.

Megumin: "My mother is YuiYui and my father is Hyoizaburo!"

Kazuma, Y/N, Aqua: -_-

Kazuma: "So Aqua, this girls clan has a lot of good magicians right?"

Megumin: "Hey if you've got something to say about my parents! Lets hear it!"
