Crush On Best Friend Part 3

Steven's POV

It is officially the weekend so it is now time for me to get ready and pick up Ryder for his very first ever date and to show him what I said at the bleachers was true about how sorry I am and how serious I was about him potentially becoming my boyfriend if Tyler hasn't beaten me to it by homecoming in a few months time.

Ryder's POV

When I got home last night and told my family they were really happy especially about Steven wanting to take me on the date to show how sorry he is and that he realised that bullying the person you are crushing on is wrong and I am glad he has come to terms with the fact that bullying the one person you like is wrong and I'm glad he knows that now.

I just don't want my childhood best friend fighting with my old bully over who gets to date me or become my boyfriend for that matter. I mean they have to at least think about me and what effect it will have if they both begin to fight over me, just so that they can see who wins my heart but if anything I think it will be whoever I decide to go to homecoming with that will eventually be my boyfriend.

At the same time one person ends up with a flipping broken heart depending on who I decide to go to homecoming with in the next month or so.

Jonathon Peters Ryder's dad POV

Linda honey come quickly and just look at our handsome first born son who is growing up way to fast and is going on his first ever date with Steven Phillips who isn't his bully anymore after their talk two days ago as we are on saturday now and the talk was on Thursday.

Linda Ryder's mum POV

Oh my god my baby boy is all grown up and is going on his first ever date with one of his potential future boyfriend's. It could also soon be the day Ryder gets proposed to and then we'll have a new son who would be son in law if there ever comes a day where either Tyler or Steven proposes to our handsome and lovely first born son.

Steven's POV

I arrive at Ryder's house and I knock on the door and his mother comes and she say's hi you must be Ryder's old bully who apologised two days ago.

I am and I'm here to take Ryder on his first date as part of my apology. Two days ago which I'm glad Ryder forgave me.

Jonathan Ryder's dad POV

Well that is great and we are glad that you have apologised to Ryder.
Thank you sir and I am truly sorry for bullying your firstborn son and my friends when I was bullying him helped but they also know that I have a crush on your son.

Ryder's POV

After finishing getting ready as the front door was just opened to let Steven in I hurry getting ready so that we are not late to where ever Steven as decided to take us for the very first date that we have together. I am very excited and I am hoping to keep this date a secret for as long as me and Steven can keep and try and not let the others find out especially Tyler because he will think that I don't care about him anymore which that won't be entirely true.

Tyler will have to let me go on this date with Steven before I go on one with him because he needs to let me see what Steven said was true especially when Steven said sorry at the bleachers and then agreed to take me out on a date as a way to earn his forgiveness from me and possibly everyone else which includes my parents and hopefully soon it will be all of mine and Tyler's friends.

Steven's POV

Once Ryder's parents have talked to me and asked why I said sorry and agreed to this date that I have planned to take Ryder on I look up from his family's direction and I see Ryder coming down the stairs and he stops on the bottom steps. He then looks up and our eyes meet and I walk up to him and say you Ryder Davidson look very beautiful right now. What Ryder says next shocks me and his whole family.

Ryder's POV

I may look beautiful but you Steven Phillips look handsome and extremely fit right now and I know what you are going to say and that is it's because I work out and I do football as well as basketball and a man who play's sports is just the man that I am willing to date even if the the man I know now used to bully me with his jock and cheerleader friends.

I also know that you wouldn't have meant to bully me and I also know that the only reason you bullied me for the first three years of my high school career was so that you could show me that you are not invisible and so you could also secretly get to touch me and see your crush in person face to face and yes I haven't forgiven you properly yet but in time I just might.

Steven's POV

Well that is better than not being forgiven at all and I am glad you still agreed along with me to go on a date. So thank's and I also want to say you look dashingly handsome this fine saturday evening. Shall we go on this date now, as what I have in mind is somewhere you probably have never been at before other than a theme park which is not where we are going just quite yet.

Ryder POV

I am ready to go where ever our date is and I can't wait to see what you have planned for the date, also I can't wait to see how much I am going to mean to you in the future and you do know that once we have gone on this date plenty of people in the school will be talking about the date if anyone from our school or the rival school see us on a date together which may end up causing an awful lot of trouble for us and our friends. We have both come from two different worlds in a way you grew up thinking you were straight until nearly three years ago, and I grew up knowing that I was gay and attracted to boys since the age of 15 which was my freshman year. That year was also when you began the bullying and I am glad that you have began changing the way you do things now because I was beginning to get bored of being bullied constantly by you and your jock and cheerleader friends.

Steven's POV

Yes I know and I have said sorry five times since our talk under the bleachers, stands which was of course yesterday, also we are still on Saturday and I would like to go on the awesome date I have planned for us now so if you are ready can we go please?.

Ryder's POV

Yes we can go now just let me say goodbye to my brother and parents then we can go on this date that you keep going on about being awesome and this date better be forgive worthy other wise you won't be forgiven until I see fit and I know you don't want that now do you Steven. Steven then says to me no I don't Ryder I really want to show you a good time and to try and get you forgiveness for the past three years that we have had in this high school together.

Goodbye Mum, Bye Dad and bye Julian best younger brother in the world.

Ryder's family POV

Goodbye son have a nice and awesome date and Steven treat Ryder right this time if you want a future with our sweet first born son and a chance to become a part of this loving family.

Steven's POV

Of course I will and I won't let you down or Ryder because he knows I am trying my best to show you and him how sorry I am for all the trouble and bullying I have caused him and the whole school especially people's family's as well.

Also thank you for letting me go out on a date with your handsome and lovely son because as you now know I have had a crush on him since childhood but obviously he didn't realise it until now which is our senior year and in just short of two months is homecoming.

Jonathon and Linda's POV

You are very welcome Steven just try to show Ryder a good time on this date and also don't let our baby boy get lost or let him go off with someone else because other than us and his friends, and you he doesn't know anyone else in New York City.

Steven's POV

I wont lose him don't worry he will be with me the whole entire time that we are together. We'll be off on our first ever date together now so see you later and have a wonderful evening.
