Chapter 12

*Cyrus POV*

I get to lunch. Andi, Buffy, Marty, and Jonah are sitting at the table. I walk over.
"Where's TJ?" I ask mostly to myself. They hear and look at each other like they know something I don't. "what? Did something happen to him?" I ask feeling like I'm about to have a panic attack.
"No, He's fine." Buffy says
"He's not coming to school anymore." Andi says.
"What? Why?" I ask pulling my phone out. "He didn't send me anything." I say as I check my texts from him.
"He..." Andi begins.
"Didn't want us to tell you. Until he left." Buffy says.
"When is he leaving? Why didn't he want to tell me?" I say about to cry.
"He's leaving soon, he didn't tell us when." Buffy says.
"He just said soon." Andi adds.
"Why?" I ask with tears in my eyes. Andi comes and hugs me.
"It's okay, You'll still have him with you." She hands me something wraped up. I open it and it's a picture frame with me and him at the swings. There is also a bracelet, it looks like one Andi made. It's rainbow with letter beads that say TJxCyrus. I put the bracelet on.
"Did you make this?" I ask Andi.
"Yeah, TJ aksed me to." She says back.

*TJ POV*

I get up and eat breakfast. Everything is mostly packed and we're going to be leaving soon.

"Mom?" I say.
"Yeah?" She says coming next to me with a box of family pictures.
"Uh... Can you take me to Andi's house?" I ask nervously.
"Sure, just give me a minute to put this in the truck." She says and starts to walk towards the door.
"I want to make it there before she gets to school." I say as she's going out the door.

I run to my room. I grab something I wraped last night when he left. I go back downstairs. My dad is leaving to take my siblings to school. I'm the only one not going because of what happened last night.
My mom comes in and my dad is pulling out of the driveway. "Are we going yet?" I say.
"Yes, come on." She says. "Who is that for?" She nods to the tissue paper.
"Uh...." I say.
"Cyrus." She says.
"Yeah." I say worried about was she was going to say.
"I figured. I saw the picture of you guys at the swings one day." She says.
"How did you know that's in here?" I ask.
"It's picture framed sized." She says. "Also I don't care about you and Cyrus. I just said that because your dad was right there, and you know how he is." 
"Yeah." I say. My dad was mad at the little things a lot. He yelled at me because I accidently hit my little sister before. He has yelled at my mom way worse though, he scared my siblings and me before. I push those memories out of my mind and I think of Cyrus.

We get to Andi's house and I see her getting into Bex's car. I hop out of the car.
"ANDI!!" I yell and she turns around. She sets her backpack down and mets me halfway there.
"TJ? Why.. are you here?" She asks.
"I'm going to be leaving soon, and I'm not coming to school. Can you give this to Cyrus?" I ask and hand her the poorly wrapped gift.
"I finished the bracelets you asked for. Do you want me to add it to this?" She asks holding the bracelets up.
"Sure." I say and she hands me one. I look at it. It's rainbow and says TJxCyrus I put it in my pocket.
"Your not going to put it on?" She asks.
"No, can you not tell Cyrus that I'm not coming to school anymore, until I leave?" I say and start to turn around.
"Sure. Also, I'm going to re-wrap this." She says holding the gift up.
"Ok, I'm not that good at wraping stuff." I say and go into my mom's car. I wave to Andi and she waves back.
We drive back home, not talking.
