Such a dull and boring night it was. No groceries to pick up, no people to fight, and she didn't even have the energy to go out and stick some spray paint on a random wall somewhere. No, all Pup wanted to do was sit on Cranes desk and drink his wine while reading the old some of the old fables again. Her peace was interrupted by three people entering the business offices. Her father, Snow, and Crane himself. They all looked like they were arguing.
Pup had little to no interest in what they were saying, but she kept an ear out just in case. Crane was horrified to see the girl perched on his desk like a bird that just flew in from an open window. She didn't even bother to take her shoes off. He dropped the petty argument and immediately made his way to his desk. Pup didn't bother to look up from the book she was reading. "Young lady, what on earth do you think you're doing!" He demanded.
It wasn't all that intimidating. Instead of giving him an answer Pup gave him a rather toothy grin. Her large canines seemed especially shiny next to her other sharp teeth. After that she took a sip from the wine and continued to read but before she could get back into the book she saw his hand reaching for her, probably hoping he could grab her and tear her away from the desk. Immediately Pup nipped at him. Her jaw gave. A loud snap as it just barely missed his honey hand.
"Poppy!" She heard Snow shout, which made Pup give out a few giggles. It was clear that she was proud of herself. Crane looked over to Bigby with a rather annoying stare. "Don't you have any control over your little...little...beast?" Beast? That was the best insult he could come up with? Pup thought. She had heard better insults come from her aunt and uncle.
Bigby shook his head, and walked over to Pup. He messed up her hair before saying "come on kid, it's too late for a fight." Pup gave an annoyed little sigh. She shut the book and got off the desk. She smiled at her dad before making her way out of the business offices. Giving Crane a glare before she left.
Crane signed before saying "she acts just like you Bigby." Bigby, giving Crane the same devilish grin Puo gave him, said "Thank you."
