•Chapter seventeen•

"Let's go." You said grabbing a random backpack she had and put the computer inside

"Do you actually need that bat?"

"Yes."

"Oh. Ok! Where are we going exactly?" She asked.

"Institution of perfection."

"Oh! My mom used to work there. But quit when her boss kept on keeping her away from me.. I didn't really care though!"

"Wait what?" You asked. "My dad works there and he doesn't really pay attention to us as much anymore either!"

"Woah that's weird! I was actually going to get a kid too but I failed the test! Don't trust me with your kids (Y/n)."

"What?! Who said I was gonna have kids? Im Just taking care of the one im gonna get for a while." You said swinging the backpack on and started walking out.

"Why not? You might get one just like you!" She said following you

"It's not that I don't want one...... actually? Never mind- I just don't want a kid to be missing a parent like I did."

"Ooo! I get it now!"

"Can we stop talking about that and leave?"

"Yeah yeah.."

You and Nikki skated there. Nikki tried to skate up there but failed. You grabbed the flash light and turned it on.

"You know you can use the flashlight from your phone right?"

"I have a flip phone dumbass!"

"Oh I forgot! HAHA!!"

You took a step and slipped on a rock.

"Oh MY FREAKING!-" you jumped up and started kicking and punching the air. Once you calmed down. "It's ok.... your a adult.." you inhaled "I can handle this!"

"HURRY UP!! WHOS WITH YOU!?" Someone yelled.

"HOLD YOUR HORSES!! IM COMING!" You said walking up.

Once you both got up. You got up first

"Sup my brothas from a different mothas" you said gripping the backpack

Nikki finally got up. "Ok... how do you do that everyday? And who chose to put it on this huge hill!"

"Nikki?" Max asked. "I didn't know you were her friend!?"

"Oh hi Max. Question! How are we going to go in?!" She said.

She was right. The lady that's usually there wasn't and the gate was locked.

"Climb?" You said walking towards it.

"Don't you have a lock pick?" Max asked.

You chuckled nervously "heh no! Who would have that!......... yeah I do.." you said taking it out. "But these are electronic. It wouldn't do anything." You said patting the gate. "And I left my key in the house.. so uhh.."

You grabbed the bars and started climbing.

"Why does it look like you've done this before?" Mandy said starting to climb.

"Cause she has." Max said climbing too.

"Damn just expose me like that. I climb trees. It helps." You said as you reached the top. You stoped and just sat there opening the laptop. You took out a usb drive.

"Do you have a criminal record?" Moxy asked.

You paused. "Well?" You said as you can feel all eyes on you.

Then Cleo spoke. "She once had to pay a hefty fine for 'damaging property' while skating. But that's all I know."

"I've had many encounters with angry people! But she's the only one that actually won.. The fence was already broken and you know it lady!" You said. You clicked a coding program and put the usb in.

You typed so random stuff till you heard something.

"INTRUDER ALERT!" It was a robot

You screamed and threw the bat directly at it making it fall over. And it just stayed there.

"Is..... is it dead?" You said starring at it "of it is those are some weak ass robots?"

You quickly finished the code and jumped off.

"Woah! She just jumped off!" Moxy said.

Then Nikki quickly climbed over.

You passed the code to the usb.

"This should work. It's supposed to be passed on to his robot brothers and make you think your normaly here." You plugged it into the robot and watched it reboot itself.

You looked back at the code. "God damn it! I did it wrong! Now anyone can break in!" You reached your hand back to it. "Let me redo it-"

"NO!" Moxy yelled.

"Huh?" You said confused with your hand still on it. "Oh crap. Isn't there cameras here?" You said looking around.

"I don't know! (Y/n)! I have a plan! Tomorrow or.... today I guess? Everyone in my town will come."

"Wow! That's a lot of people!.." you said nodding "but ok!" It finished downloading and you took it out. "Off to visit you mother!" You said climbing over the gate. "AH-" you said jumping off.

"Your not gonna sleep at the house?" Max asked.

"Come on dude I'm already over the gate.." you said putting your foot on your skateboard

Nikki was already over the gate too.

"Wait dude pass me my bat." You said to Max.

"Fuck your bat!" He said throwing it god knows where.

"Actually that was mine Max." Nikki said.

"I DONT CaRe!!" He said walking to your house. "IM SLEEPING IN YOUR BED (Y/n)!"

You looked back I Nikki.

"I didn't know you were friends with Max? I thought he was talking about a different (Y/n)?"

"Well I am! And he's very annoying.. but he's like family."

She nodded and pushed her foot down going down the hill.

"Race ya!"

"What!? No fair!"
