A Quirk?

Izuku POV

I was awaiting in still silence as I felt every ones eyes burn my skin out of anxiety I was waiting to be told to get out, to be downcast and if heroes like eraserhead and All Might of all people know he had no chance, he would lose the chance as a vigilante too the only thing that had kept him going all these years. instead I felt footsteps next to me I scrunched my eyes waiting for the blow but instead I felt warm arms around me embracing me, I stood shocked.

"even being quirkless you are more powerful than a lot of heroes and you have higher morals than those of other pro-heroes, heroes like me where blessed with a quirk and in ways had things easy when it came to saving people but a lot of heroes want the fame and money, you want to save people in a genuine way, we could never hate you for that" a slow but kind voice said from next to me, from the hero, eraserhead I stood shocked he didn't hate me, he accepted that.

then he let go and we got back to training I was feeling a little uncomfortable that all might was focused on me mostly but that also drove me to prove I was strong without a quirk, then my heart sank as I saw All Might call Eraser over to him and had an in depth conversation and they kept looking over at me , then as I was sharpening the knife I was holding, All might walked over to me and said

"Young Midoria why don't we have a walk, come with me" he said as more of a statement than a question and I was a little hesitant what if he takes me to villains or the police?, what if he takes me home? no, he wouldn't do that, right? I decided to go but I snuck the knife into my suit, just in case

3rd POV

Izuku and All Might had been walking in silence for a bit, until All might stopped,

"I understand that you don't have a quirk and I already know you are only still training for the U.A entrance exam because you want to stay ahead of heroes, but what if I told you, you had the ability to gain a quirk" he stated to the shocked boy in front of him

"Wh-What I cant just gain a quirk, it needs to manifest and of course just My luck I didn't get one" he started shocked but spat the last part

"you are strong, very strong, Young Midoria, so I would like to offer you the opportunity to be... my successor" he said in a slow and serious tone "of course if you don't want my quirk I understand you will still make it great in saving people, but if you don't want to answer you can think about it" he said in a softer joking tone

"I-I can have a quir-quirk, y-yours" Izuku muttered out "yes my boy, do you want to accept?"

"y-ye, wait, what's the catch?" he said suspiciously "Look, my time as the symbol of peace is almost up and I still have not found a successor, without that this quirk One For All will die with me and my mentor before me and every One For All holder will be disgraced, but you, you are strong enough to carry it on and make it stronger, please just think about it" he aid with sadness to his voice, "ok, but what do you mean "your time as Symbol Of Peace is almost up?" izuku questioned as he screamed to see a skinny man in front of him like the strong All might had deflated. "this is my real form. Blah blah you know the rest about the hair and training on the beach

Time skip to day of entrance exam

Izuku POV

I cant believe I have a quirk now, even after all the training with All Might and Aizawa I cant help but feel like something missing, someone.

"Hello Midoria, i'm glad to see someone I know" I jumped as a monotone voice behind me appeared and scared me half to death

"O-oh Hi Hello sorry just jumpy, Todoroki-Kun, how are you feeling today?" "Confident, i'm just here to watch because I found out last week I got in through recommendations to U.A so unfortunately for you Im already in" He said to me " o-oh wow that's incredible, are you going to be ok with the New quirk?" he asked "Shhhh Todoroki-kun, other people can't know about the quirk" I stated in a hurried voice

"SHOTOOOO!!!" I heard a yell from across the yard to see endeavor yelling for Todoroki to come over to him "sorry Midoria I have to go, good luck" he said as he turned on his heel to walk "bye Todoroki-Kun" I yelled
