Alex was terribly sorry.
She kept ignoring him because he hadn't known what happened.
He doesn't know why.
He doesn't know anything except for the fact that she was ignoring him.
"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked her.
"Nothing."
"Please tell me. I know something's wrong."
"Its just when I needed you, you weren't there."
"Tell me what happened please."
"Just forget it Alex."
"Tell me please."
Girls walked by giving her the finger. She started to cry as she looked at them.
Alex pulled her into a hug. "Can you forgive me for not being there?"
She smiled slightly and said, "Sure."
"Okay." They stood there in the hall hugging each other.
Soon after that one of the popular girls walked by and hit her shoulder hard.
Her notebook flew across the room throwing blades and drawings.
She rushed to pick them all up before anyone saw.
"Lilly Prescott. Do you need counseling dear?"
She just stood there and stuttered, "N-No one k-knows m-my name.."
"Its okay dear. I knew your mother."
"M-Mom? Y-You knew m-my mom?"
"Yes Lilly. Do you need help with your cutting?"
"How did you know-"
"I saw your blades fly across the room."
"Lilly? That's your name." Alex said.
"Yes.." She said trailing off.
"Its a beautiful name."
"Lilly dear, I want to help you. Tell me when you're ready okay?" The counselor said.
"I'll help her overcome it. Thank you though." Alex said.
"You're welcome."
Lilly sat there crying.
All that was floating through her head was her mother.
The person who started it all.
The person who made her do it.
The person that wanted her to die.
