Author's Note: The song above has absolutely nothing to do with this story it's just one of the songs I've been playing on repeat and I figure I'd share it with all of you. It's called Changes by H.E.R. Feel free to let me know what you think about it! :)

"How long until dad comes back?" I question my mother after we pull apart from our hug. Mom looks me up and down before her green eyes meet my brown ones courtesy of my dad.

"I'm not sure Mia. It all depends how long Alpha Simon needs him for." I frown. I wanted my dad to be here so that we could be a family again and so that I could show my parents how much my training has payed off. I was one of the top female wolves when it came to hand to hand combat, both in human form and wolf form. Most other females were just decent while fighting as wolves. "Hey, chin up he'll be home before you know. Annoying you and your mate." My frown deepens at the mention of my mate. Alejandro's face pops into my head and I snap at my wolf when she whines for him. We couldn't be weak. Not in front of our mate and definitely not in front of my mom, she would kill him if she knew the truth.

"Oh honey, you haven't found him yet, have you?" My mom whispers and my attention snaps back to her. I know mom noticed my frown but thankfully it was for a different reason. She thought I didn't find my mate yet and I intended to keep it that way, at least until I was rejected and Alejandro was Alpha. Maybe when that happened I could finally convince my parents to let me go with them whenever they left the pack again on warrior business.

"No, I haven't." I whispered and my mom signs sadly before pulling me into another tight hug.

"Don't worry Mia, you'll find each other soon enough and it'll be the best thing that ever happens to you, I promise." I feel my eyes get watery but force the tears to stay at bay and pull away from my mother.

"Enough about me not finding my mate, mom. I want to spend as much time with you as possible before the ceremony tonight." My mom smiles before Alpha Andres's voice rings aloud.

"It's so nice to see you again, Marcella." Mom and me turn around to see a smiling Alpha Andres and Luna approaching us.

"Alpha, Luna." Mother bows respectfully before being engulfed in a hug by Luna Valerie.

"It's so good to see you after these past few years." Luna whispers to my mother. My mother smiles and wraps her arms around the Luna. "It's good to be back home." The two stay like that for a few minutes before pulling apart, both grinning.

"How has my daughter been behaving, Alpha?" Mother asks turning her attention away from Luna. Alpha laughs and looks over to me.

"She's behaved quite well. Been exceeding in her hand to hand combats with the other trainees and became one of the top female fighters since you left." Mother looks at me surprised. It was one of the main things I left out of my letters because it was something I wanted to tell my parents in person. "Mia hasn't given anybody any trouble and I wouldn't be surprised if she joined you and your husband with the other warriors soon." Mother snaps back to stare at Alpha. "I'm sure that's something you all would need to discuss of course." Mom nods before turning back to me.

"Why didn't you tell me about your accomplishments, Mia?" I shrug. "It's a huge deal to both your father and me, Mia, you know this." I shrug again. I hated being the center of attention and with my mother, Alpha and Luna staring at me I was being to feel very uncomfortable. "Mia-"

"Mom can we not do this right now, please?" I beg. Mom stares at me quietly for a few minutes before nodding.

"Fine, but when your father comes home the three of us will be discussing it, am I clear?" Nodding quickly I turn to Alpha.
