Fourteen

3 Weeks Later
Hyewon Pov

"So...is there any good news?" My father ask.

We are now having a family dinner at my parents mansion. I understand what my father meant, but I know that he is mocking me.

"Everythin-"

"How is Eunbi." He ask coldly.

"I don't know." I answer.

"How come you don't know?! She's pregnant with your child!" My father slamp his hand on the table.

I can see dissapointment in his eyes. My mom then pat his back. He was about to talk when suddenly Minju stand up.

"E-excuse me." She said.

I then stand up and follow her. When she reach the bathroom, she started to vomit. Is the food taste bad? But it's good thou.

I pat her back and hold her hair. She then wash her mouth and hug me. She started crying.

"Baby. What's wrong?" I said cupping her face.

She just shooked her head.

"Do you want to go home?" I ask.

"You better explain everything to your dad." I then sigh and nod.

We then go back to the dining table and sit back. My dad is still mad at me.

"Dad it's not my child." I said.

"How do you know? The child is haven't born yet."

"I never slept with her." I explain.

He just remain silent. But my mom calm him.

"Maybe what he said is true. You should give him a chance." My mom advice him.

I then look at him with my pleading eyes. Suddenly, I feel Minju hold my hand under the table.

I face her and she smile. But she suddenly look pale.

"We need to go Minju is not feeling well." I said and stand up.

We then excuse ourselves.

As soon as we arrive at home Minju just stay silent. She get ready for bed and sleep.

I was worried maybe she is thinking about Eunbi. I get ready for bed and lied beside her.

"Is it true." She ask.

"About what?"

"Eunbi is p-" I cut her by hugging her.

"No, I never slept with her." I explained.

She only hummed and sleep. I just keep on hugging her.

It was already 3 a.m. I cant sleep because I can't stop thinking what happen just now.

Why did she vomit? Is she sick?

Suddenly Minju wake up and enter the bathroom. She started to puke again.

I worry even more. When she return, I immidietly hug her.

"You okay?" I ask.

She only nod and sleep again.

Narrator

The morning comes and Hyewon was cooking breakfast for his wife. When he was about to wake her up, he see's her wife puking inside the bathroom.

He then immidietly pat her back to relax her. Minju then wash her mouth and hug her husband.

"You okay?" Hyewon ask.

Minju only nod.

"Breakfast is ready." Hyewon tell her while carresingher cheek.

"I'll get ready first." Minju tell him.

He then nod and peck her forehead.

Hyewon just came from a meeting. When he enter his office he didn't see Minju.

He called Minju but the latter decline it. He started to worry but then his phone light up.

"I'll be back soon. Don't worry. Luv u." Minju chatted him.

He then sigh in relief. So he just continue to do his work.

It was already lunch time but Minju haven't return to the office. Hyewon started to get mad.

He was walking back and forth in his office when suddenly the door swing open revealing his wife.

He immidietly hug her. Minju return the hug. He pull away and cross his arms.

"Where have you been?" He ask.

"I-I went to visit mom." She answer.

She actually went to the doctor.

"Inform me next time if you're going somewhere. You're making me worry." Hyewon said and peck her forehead.

Minju only nod and smile.

They were both busy with work when suddenly Hyewon break the silence.

"Baby?"

"Hmm?" Minju said while typing on her computer.

"Why did you keep on puking for this past few days?" He ask.

Minju froze. She don't know what to say. And she still worry what if Hyewon is not ready.

"I- don't know."

Hyewon just hummed and continue his work while Minju sigh in relief.

Hyeju's house

The couple was cuddling while watching movies when suddenly Minju phone ring. She look at the caller and it's Yujin.

"Who called?" Hyewon ask.

"I don't know." Minju reply.

"Hmm."

"Excuse me." She said and enter the kitchen to answer Yujin call.

What she didn't know is that Hyewon follow her from behind. He then earsdropped his wife.

"What do you want?"

"How are you baby?"

"Yujin we split last year because you cheated so please stop calling me baby."

Hyewon ears then perk up with the word "baby".

"In you life we broke up. But in mine we don't"

"Yujin I'm married."

"So. Your still mine."

Minju then end the call. Hyewon run as fast as he can and sit on the couch back.

Minju sit beside him and frown. Hyewon started to get jealous a little bit.

"Who called?" He ask.

He actually know who called. But he only know the person as Minju ex. He didn't know his name.

"The person who I don't want to see" Minju answer coldly.

"Ouh."

"Why did she suddenly become cold to me?" Hyewon thought.
