Adora had just gotten done wiping her skate's blades after a 4 hour practice session. It's was 5:45pm, which meant the ice was about to be zambonied in preparation for the 6:00 figure skating practice.

Adora always hated her practice times, and was envious of the later figure staking ones. She loved how the sunset gleamed through the giant windows and bounced off the fresh ice halfway through their practice.

She secretly loved watching the figure skaters on her way out. It was an unspoken expectation at her rink for the figure skaters and hockey players to hate each other. Adora might have convinced herself and her teammates that she hates the prissy figure skaters, but nothing mesmerizes her more than a beautiful girl spinning and dancing
on the ice.

Adora stood up from the bench she was sitting on with a groan of pain and struggled to walk herself to the locker rooms. Practice had been especially tiring that day.

Her rink had one very large set of bleachers to the right side of the rink, and under them was a hallway with locker rooms, coach offices, storage, and restrooms. Her locker room just happened to be at the very end of the long hallway of sorts.

As her blades stepped on the hard rubber flooring suddenly she felt herself falling. Regardless of being the star player, she was pretty clumsy off the ice. As she fell she heard a rip of fabric and a girl yelling at her.

"My dress!! Watch where you're going next time, asshole!"

Adora scrambled to analyze her situation, she looked up at the angry cat girl in a black jumpsuit holding a disheveled red skating dress. She suddenly realized she had ripped all the sequins off the girls dress when she tripped.

"I am so sorry, are you okay?" Adora struggled to spit out

"Of course I'm not okay, a dumb hockey bitch just tripped and destroyed my dress!" The snappy cat replied

"Why was your dress long enough for me to trip over it in the first place?!" Adora remarked

"It's not a standard skating dress, dumb ass. It's for a special solo performance I'm doing. And now, thanks to you, I have to get it repaired before my performance next week." She replied

"It looks fine without the sequins, can't you just wear it like that?" Adora asked

"They aren't "sequins", they are real crystals."
She said in an angry tone

"Oh." Adora replied

Adora stood in silence for a moment. She began to process how much the dress actually was worth, and began to feel increasingly more guilty. As much as she wanted to offer to help fix it, she hated the prissy 6 o'clock figure skaters, and if anyone saw her sucking up to one, she'd never be able to show her face in front of her team ever again. She wasn't willing to destroy her reputation over some sequins.

"Who cares anyways, I'm sure you have plenty of money to fix the dress by yourself. No need to cry over some sequins." Adora remarked

"Whatever, you hockey players always think you're so tough because you skate with a stick in you hand. Get over yourself." The girl snapped as she walked away with as many crystals as she could carry in one hand.

Adora smirked and began walking back to the locker room feeling on top of the world. Adora loved a good argument, but this one felt different.. She turned around one last time to see the girl leaving. Her skating bag had a tag that read "Catra" in red sharpie.
