Chapter six

Abdullahi POV

Maryam sent me a massage early,inviting me to Layla's welcoming party and she told me it was a surprise,which means i have to come before Layla comes back.I quickly went into the shower ,after spending about five minutes in the shower,i came out and dressed into a traditional attire.I stop at a gift shop and bought her a gold neckless with a channel bag.
I arrived the house finally,after the holdup I entered on my way,the party is supposed to be held at their back yard ,so i went through the backyard,i hope am not late?i asked Maryam as soon as i entered the garden,yes you are not she said with a smile,well the decoration is beautiful and simple,yes Yaya Layla doesn't like too much decoration,you should all go and hide,she is on her way,sadiq shouted.i hid behind a tree ,Maryam is supposed to count to three,after that we will all shout surprise!!! .omg ,I almost lost my breath because Layla almost took my breath,she has this shock expression on her face,like she wasn't expecting this,of course she does know ,it a suprise party ,Khalifa said ,i don't know i said it loud. After her siblings gave a heart melting and emotional speech.i went to congratulate her but she looks surprise to see me here,i don't know you came,she said with a smile,she looks shy whenever I'm around her.You look beautiful,i tried to change the topic,and i caught her blushing,oou girl you don't know what you make me feel whenever you smile or blush.I gave her a gift and she gave me a warming smile that melted my heart and accepted the gift,i should take my leave now,because i have a patient to attend to.

Layla's POV

The party was finally over,I'm currently on my bed trying to open my gifts after taking a relaxing shower,Maryam brought me a dairy,Yaya sadiq bought me an iPhone 11 omg,I'd make a note to thank him tomorrow.my bestie brought me my dream shoes ,Aldo of cause,khalifa and safiya brought me chocolate and finally ,i opened the gift ,Dr.Abdullahi gave it was a gold neckless and a channelbag ,omg it most cost him a lot ,I'd make a note to thank them tomorrow,I went to sleep with a smile on my face and at the same time thinking about my mother and saying a prayer to her ,may her soul Rest In Peace.And i will call baba tomorrow In sha Allah.
