Chapter five

Layla's POV

We are on our way back home from the hospital,I'm really happy and excited to finally lay on my comfortable bed today,I have really missed it some much,as soon as we reached home,my siblings weren't there to welcome us ,which was unusual,and the door was opened which means they're all at home.The familiar smell of home hit me,and I smiled to myself ,home sweet home I murmured,we went into the hallway and still there was no sign of any of them,i asked Yaya sadiq,were are they and he gave me that look,as in i don't know,may be they went out ,I thought to myself.As soon as I entered inside my bedroom,I felt relaxation and enjoyment finally been in the comfort of my room,this room is the only place that held so much memory of me ,during sad and happy moments,I decided to take a hot bath so that I can take a nap after that.

Maryam POV

Layla is currently in her bathroom taking a bath,Yaya sadiq told us to wait in the garden as soon as they entered the house,Layla is coming,i told my siblings to go and hide under the tables,SUPRISE!!!!!we all shouted as soon as Layla came into view,she was shocked at first and she later started crying,I don't know how my life would be without you guys....y'all make me complete

Layla's POV

Layla were are you,Yaya sadiq kept shouting my name,I'm getting dressed ,i answered back,ok,if you are done can you please come to the garden so that i can show you something and also have a word with you,ok I'm coming right now,as soon as he left,i entered inside my closet ,I decided to wear a yellow body con with a navy blue kimono,finally then topped it up with a yellow flat shoe and a veil, i looked at the mirror to see a beautiful girl staring back at me with a last look i murmured a ma sha Allah and went straight to the garden,I stepped into garden and the familiar smell of flowers hit me,this place is my favorite place in the house,and the most peaceful place to be,as soon as i opened the door leading to the main garden,i saw my siblings shouting and bestie SURPRISE!! I was shocked at first but later started crying,tears of joy ,we did a family group hug with me crying and really blessed to have my siblings in my life and my bestie,but am a little bit sad because mama and baba are not here to celebrate with me,am so thankful to you people and I really appreciate it,I said trying to smile in between my tears telling them it is a tear of joy,it's time to cut the cake ,I tried to lighten the atmosphere.You look beautiful today as always i heard someone said behind, trying to look at the owner of the voice I saw it was Dr.Abdullahi ,I didn't notice his presence not until he Spoke,I blushed knowing he had already seen it.
